  • In capitalist America, bank robs you!

  • I honestly don't understand why people keep pissing and moaning about banks. The solution is so simple. STOP USING BANKS! Done. Any other questions?

  • B of A is by far the worst financial institution I've ever come across.

  • You Rock!!!

  • I just started at bofa a month ago and I love it! I don't work in the credit card dept so I'm not sure about those policies. it's a great place to work tho. my branch is amazing, like a little family. compared to citibank and chase, bofa is gold!

  • if you borrow from 2 different pay day loans. 255 x 2 different places 50 interest times 2 = 100 . if you do this every month you pay 1200 interest a year. how do you brake that Cycle.I was thinking of borrowing 100 less each month. but what happens if I slip ouch. they charge 400% interest. I wish there was cap laws in California on how much they could charge in interest.I feel they are trying to take advantage of us. Visa Charges 25% to 40% interest.cash advance charges 400%,CA has no rules

  • Is she just being silly? Why on earth would you use your creditcard for a $3.00 transaction? No matter what, everytime you use your creditcard, you actually take away 2-5% from the merchant and in some cases you also pay a fee on the transation. You pay the bank 3-5% for the convenience of not carrying quarters in your pocket.!! ANYBODY WHO TELLS YOU OTHERWISE MUST BE SELLING SOMETHING. If the Mafia offers you 10K cash at 30% interest or your life, would you take it? It is the same thing.

  • Why does BOA charge $6 to cash one of their own checks? Running a business, I now charge the BOA customer with this fee. When I explain why.. they are equally appalled and disgusted as I.

  • @cervantessssssssssss Hey, stop PMing me with messages asking for a date. I am not a fag like you, so stop it.

  • Dang but you are beautiful!~

  • Has a man ever used the pickup line "Hey baby, I wish I was Bank of America so I could screw you" on you? Just wondered.

  • couldn't link to the video directly...but just go to youtube, and enter ZUU Everywhere Water - and it should come up...

  • Watch this music video from ZUU, inspired by a band member whio has gone into major debt cause of big bank overdraft fees, cash advance fees..you name it. it's called "Water" - tag line - Drowned to Debt by BoA

  • Fuck added Intrest on cash advances. Thats fucking BS.

  • Like what attracts people to this job the money like as a human being how can you be pruod to say hey im a banker and I make people pay money to get there own money out the bank. I also make 40,000 a year off ripping grandma's off with 12 month no interest cards then i hike it up to 30%. like really if your a banker your scum the only people lower than you are the criminals behind bars.

  • PART 1:

Hey, how about this story (my),

You deposit $3,000 check to your less than $100 checking account then check online your account balance next day (it shows +$3,000), then you buy something at $170 price and in few days you get charged for overdraft fee (well, it was actually few overdraft fees for my other overdrafts).

  • PART 2:

Even though I had that screen snapshot saved as bmp (this was my 2nd experience, I had to prove them), BoA had an explanation: this is what they said: The online service is not run by us and may not truly reflect your real account. The actual deposit may take up to 3 weeks. So, why they are misleading me and other customers?

  • PART 3:

Hmmmm, they say: hey John, you have AVAILABLE $1000. John goes and buys a cigarette, bank then says, hahahahaha John youve got punk, we lie you! You had $1 only.

  • How long are you going to continue banking with BOA ?

I would have started moving for another bank asap. even if it meant starting a savings account with a 20 and leaving it there until the new bank allowed me to open a checking account.

  • baby you look good. u and i should hook up and bump uglies...

  • You are so cute. :))) Keep up the good work!

  • BEWARE OF BOA cash advances! The interest rate on a cash advance is 24.9%, much higher than merchandise purchases. And, you cannot pay down the case advance until you first pay off all your lower interest rate balances. Even if you wanted to! That means that your high interest rate cash advances will be accruing interest at that high rate despite making timely monthly payments to BOA! That is unfair and deceptive!!!!!!

  • The bitch of it now is, that the American Public no longer has a choice. If we don't deposit our money into the large banks, our government will take some of our tax dollars and give to them, in the form of bailouts. The bailouts may or may not ever be repaid, time will tell, but for those saying "It's a free market, just move your money elsewhere." , that only halfway works now. You can still close your account, though, and should, at BOA. Bastites of America.

  • I dont disagree with your rants but jesus go to a different bank its called "choice". Banks are businesses! find a small bank like i did(First Merit) and have fun...

Ps it just sounds like this is your ticket to fame? what fame i dont know maybe your holding out for a today show interview or something .....

  • She said it wasn't her. Did you even listen to the video you cunt pussy fuck?

  • WOW GOOD ONE!

  • Yeah im not good with insults like you. its outside my character... Just respect ppl's opinions and get over it. The end.

  • Sounds like you should take your own advice. I guess they don't teach that in private pussy hole schools.

  • Nope public schools here too! i respect opinions thats why i didnt lash out with vulgar words to get my point across. all i said was you have choice read it!!!!!!!! im not gonna have a u tube war of words with someone who's only reply is with fuck cunt pussy please be mature and get over yourself

  • YouTube*

  • Just curious what finanicial institution are you with now?

  • vagisil4eva...how do you think banks make money BOA needs your "parking" money to expand into asian markets so it can offer us Credit with no Credit History @ 37.6% interest & no collateral ..And we obviously hapily take it, And if we cannot repay it we simply dont. So be smart take out a big loan invest it safely somewheare dont keep asset in your name so that they cannot come after u.and threaten them with a mental anguish lawsuit if they call u 2 much

  • Now BofA is doing telemarketing calls to their customers -- bugging them in the evening hours trying to sell life insurance/dismemberment coverage.

    How disgraceful and tacky!!

I closed my account last month and moved my measily 2200.00 to my local credit union.

  • This is like going swimming and complaining that you got wet.

  • How so?

  • all banks, as they are now, are criminal enterprises. They are crooks. They charge you for money that they create out of thin air. They are counterfeiters. If you trust crooks, you will get burned. if you go swimming, you will get wet.

  • Aha okay I wasn't understanding at all what you meant thank you for the clarification. =-D

  • I love you vagisil4eva. Lets make a baby.

  • As the BOA employee stated in a comment below, BOA is a for profit company and will do what ever it takes to increase profit. Nothing else matters, Only Money. They will do anything to separate you from your money. The term Mindless Evil fits them well.

  • LET'S ALL START A GRASS ROOTS MOVEMENT, HERE AND NOW. BOYCOTT BofA! Now that the Fed. Gov. gives them our tax dollars in the form of bailouts, we may not be able to put them under, but we can make it obvious that they can't just continue to f$%^ people and get away with it! The ghost of Abbie Hoffman lives!

  • Hey there vagisil4eve - I currently work at BOA and have done so for several years. Although I don't 'agree' with all of our policies and fee structures - I do understand that BOA, as with all banks, are a for profit organization. Even more so - I believe that consumers need to be wise to terms and agreements - be it with banks, insurance companies, etc....

  • yes, a for-profit institution designed for the absolute bottom line, no matter the amount of financial suffering required to get there. yet another reason to bank with a local credit union. thanks for making my point for me..

  • @jwatts226 Do you enjoy making money off other peoples misfortune only to stuff it into the pockets of your COE via his disproportionately large paycheck?

  • Use your debit card. No fee.

  • dont use it at parking metter - get a debit card

  • Cons +Piracy

    Liars + Thieves

    Cons-piracy to enslave you

  • "Banks are like the DMV now. In fact all public institutions now have contempt and disrespect for their customers because they can" thats very accurate its called "decadence" my friend and as society approaches decadence the wolves will shed thier sheeps clothing. They are showing thier true colors now.

  • i hate bank of america. today i opened a new direct deposit account wiht a credit union that will provide me with online bill pay and the whole 9 yards just like i have with bank of america but i wont no longer be getting screwed. as soon as the direct deposit takes a hold with my new account im walking into bank of america and closing my accounts with them. i cant wait to walk in there and tell them im closing my accounts and hear them ask me why! im gonna tell them why thats for sure. theysuck

  • ha, i don't usually ask why when people close their accounts. i just do it and send them on their way.

  • Bank of America is the devil!

  • the checking account pulls funds available from your credit card to cover the insufficient amount in your checking (usually in increments of $100). The amount transfered from the credit card to the checking will post to your credit card as a Cash Advance (usually a higher rate) + a 3% Cash Advance fee. I'm way off topic now lol; but just wanted to add that tidbit in there.

  • I'm kinda getting away from the point of your video by referencing that link; but nonetheless it's a helpful tool explaining (in layman terms) how different accounts work. I hope this doesn't come off as snoody or that I am holier than tho-b/c that's not what I'm trying to do. Just trying to help =) **Just a note on the overdraft protection part-if you link your checking acct to a crdt card for ODP it's free of charge UNLESS you actually overdraft. In that case...

  • question & I was merely trying to help provide an answer. The amount of crap ppl think they put up with being a cardholder will not EVEN come CLOSE to comparing w/the craziness we have to put up w/on the phones. Don't shoot the messenger. So now I've answered your question. I have one for you..

does making yourself look & sound like an uneducated idiot on the internet fulfill your hopes & dreams? I'm not wasting anymore time on this childish b/s. Have fun with your "erroneous" bank fees.

  • hey hey hey, sorry, no ill will here, i appreciate the honesty -- and sorry if i pegged you as another asshole BoA employee. notice how your comments are getting deleted. you've managed to do what no other BoA employee has done before --- earned my respect.

  • whoops, typo. i meant to say notice how your comments HAVE NOT gotten deleted.

  • @rocknesgirl I'm pretty sure you are the one looking and sounding like an idiot by (ever) working for such a corrupt bank. And don't give me crap about how it was the only job you could find. I know it's much easier said than done but you can't get much more common sensical (<--not a word, I know :P) than this: if no one works for BOA (or similarly corrupted) and/or if no one gives them their business, they'll lose their power. Derrrr... Obviously it's more complicated but... step by step...

  • @rocknesgirl Ummm hey dummy........she's done with BOA there won't be any more erroneous bank fees! Now who looks like the idiot?

  • But I do my job and I try to do it to the best I can. And I certaintly agree w/you on the language in the terms. Hell, I have a hard time understanding the phrasing on some of them. And I go to bat for the hundreds of customers who cuss me out about them daily. Any concern they throw at me I FWD them up. I can only do so much; but at least I understand. And thank you for allowing me to place a face to some of the ppl who call hysterically. I never wanted to argue abt a fee u asked a

  • RE your email(s)-I only had a chance to read the 1st one.

I didn't misunderstand and I'm not trying to fight w/anyone. We post transactions to the account as it comes through to us (from the merchant) all transactions have a MCC code (don't ask me what it stands for cause idk) but it's the code the merchant sends us when the card is swiped which allows us to know where to place the transaction. Ie purchase, balance transfer or in this case cash advance.

  • I'm not necss. defending the bank's policies on certain issues; but if people have questions about how a transaction is going to be processed-it's always better to ask than to assume. And read the fine print. We don't mail out those notices just to kill trees.

  • How much did you get paid for that comment? 12 cents?

  • First off, the fee is not a penalty. It's a standard cash transaction fee that is not only charged by BoA but believe it or not ALL other credit card's as well. And we all have to disclose this fee to ea cardholder in the terms & conditions of the card agreement. The APR is higher b/c you are borrowing money that isn't yours. I work in the CC dept and we post the transactions as they come through from the merchant (in this case the parking meter company).

  • First off, I think you misunderstood the point. The fact is that BoA charges a CASH ADVANCE rate for swiping your card at a PARKING METER.

Explain to me how that is fair and/or legit. And second of all, the fine print is deliberately meant to confuse and is written in such legalese that the average person would not care or understand that they are being screwed.

Do you enjoy working at BoA? Does it fulfill all your hopes and dreams?

  • And you're wrong, its not ALL cards. Chase, as far as I know, because I've used my card at a municipal lot and was never charged the ridiculous APR for swiping at a meter. ALL credit cards do not do that, sorry.

  • Hah, BOA refused to cash my paycheck because it was from out of state. They said there would be a hold. 7 Days later, still had no money. Then, I called and the guy magically made it show up online in my account. They hit me with plenty of fees and are by far the WORST bank around. People need to stay far far away from them..

  • they charge mne 5.00 in fees for taking money out here in Seoul. When I put money in my account they take previous charges and change the dates then lower my availible balance after I had added the money even though its been lowered prior to this.

  • continuing

and it is funny that they did that right before they day they know my direct deposit is supposed to go in. Isn't that nice of them. If I don't have the money in the bank return the check don't pay for me then charge me 7 overdraft fees.

  • It's not just bank of America actually B of A is better with their fees than wellsfargo. I just got charged 300 dollars of overdraft fees by wells fargo which were ridiculous. 35 dollars for transactions I made under 10 dollars. I am very angry that is ridiculous. Just like you said they held my transactions that I Had made within the last 5 days never posted any of them until a large check cleared which I thought was lost because I hadn't seen that check for 3 months now.

  • Thank you for that info... Whafinally happened with the trans did they refund they money back that BOA charged?? What happened to you at Bank of America that made you so angry??

  • ok I see.... I thought you were talking about a debit card i was gonna say theres no way they could do that. Did it say on the credit card terms that they would charge you to use it at a parking meter???? Also what type of excuse did boa give your friend as to how they can charge the purchase like this?

  • The terms doesn't mention anything about a parking meter, but the card agreement usually contains some sort of mumbo jumbo legalese saying that they can change their terms whenever and wherever they see fit. BoA's justification is that any payments to a "governmental institution" would be charged as a cash advance. The problem is that since no cash goes into the user's hands after the transaction, you can't really call it a "cash advance" especially since the charge was for $2!!!

  • Also, its just flat out USURY to charge a customer such an exorbitant rate for using a parking meter when the initial charge was $2, the ultimate charge is over $12 with the fee and extra interest charge.

  • Are you talking about a debit card or a credit card? Because when you use a credit card for a transaction that you are supposed to pay with cash and you use a credit card that would be considered a cash advance. But there is no way they can charge you a cash advance fee on a debit card purchase.

  • Credit Card. And why would that merit a cash advance charge? THERE IS A CREDIT CARD SLOT ON THE PARKING METER! Therefore, the idea that you're "supposed to pay cash" doesn't really make sense. The meter gives you the option of charging it to your credit card, which is useful especially if you're parking for business. That is just a fraudulent move on BoA's part.

  • at the rate irts going the only banks will be left is bofa and wells fargo

  • Bank of America is a fucking joke. I wish it was them that were struggling and needed to be purchased by Chase. or better yet, just destroy all of the B of A buildings in the world...
