i use the acturbus bullet(u know the glyph u get from him) and the INT boost. it works really well but scince i cant doge like most of his attacks and i havent unlocked high potions yet im ganna be faceing him for many hours

To beat him on hard mode with no damage, you have to be a master at Albus.

I actually found him easier than some other bosses on max difficulty. I just used dual Umbra, Magician Ring, INT Boost, and a Dark Ring.

Albus and Dracula are the only REAL boss's that gave me any trouble after getting potions. Also Since when you are Albus in my opinion you kick more ass. Albus gets my vote for second best castlevania char. The top being Soma and his hard core abilities in one. (not played two)

if you mean the sonic punch you have to crouch in front of him as he is walking then he goes right past you. You mean the jump well you walk under him.

you have to equip the 1 glyphs,dominus anger,hatred and agony then you use the glyph combination thing(up plus Y)

if uwanna beat him with NO dmg there is alway my jester like way... try to stay behind him all the time. if he faces you then quickly jump, and make an air stom on his head, making you land beehind him after that. when he uses his glyph, make sure to get behind him and use Vol Umbra all the time(don't stand too close behind him, or you'll miss with umbra)

Anna I think is hidden behind a breakable wall in Somnus Reef. Try the wall at the top left of the first 2x3 room.

Since Albus's attacks only hit in front you just have to get behind him. Just because of the way he positions himself before he attacks, you could just either slide a couple of times to get behind him before he attacks or just run and jump over him. Both ways work. I find it more entertaining to jump over him though... xD

I found the best way to beat him, really, was to steal his Glyph and then use it against him. He is weak to Dark but does not resist Light (Which means, postgame, you can use Nitesco on his ass.)

Sloppy way of killing Albus. Equip the best Rapier Glyph and keep following him behind. Jump over him when he shoots/kicks/laughs and just slash at him. Easy medal.

I got the bad ending too the first time. (Forgot about the villagers, lol). I used Vol Umbra here too, but actually dual wielding Arcus with an Archer Ring equipped works really well too.

I found that using doubling the fire glyphs (Irina?) twice, and comboing him up close from behind was most effective.

This is the "turn-point" of the game. Before this, the game is so-so: Rescuing the villagers and doing the quests is great, but it has mediocre music, linear stages, no interest story... but from this battle on, the game blows you away! It is amazingly good, I was shocked... REALLY! The "reserved" the best music and stages for the last half o the game. The story also transforms completely with an amazing plot twist (probably the best I've seen in a Castlevania game).

Dunno I think the music for the most part is pretty consistent throughout the entire game...Story is a bit slow paced at first, but of course its because it all leads up to this battle, and Konami wanted to take a step back and make the game slightly linear (as they had this whole Castleroid thing going for the past decade and a half or so)

jumping isn't really that smart when fighting albus because when u jump, he uses this fire kick move that's really hard to dodge when u're in mid-air. =P

Im so stuck after when i kill albus :X for some reason he barlowe took me to the "forbbidon room"(I know I spelled it wrong) then he says something about union of the glyphs, what am I suppose to do here? I tried do somthing with "Dominus" but all it does is kill me or lower my hp till I die, Any Ideas what im doing wrong? or what Am I suppose to do in the first place?

But yeah, finding and saving the villagers is needed to get some other ending than the bad one.

Ah...I noticed that this whole scenario with Albus is almost similar to Maxim In Dissonace. Being controlled by Draculas power and having to do something to save him then kill him. they also look similar.
