  • Your speedometer is actually wrong. Every car's speedometer is wrong by 10% apparently. So when you your speedometer was calculating 56mph you were technically doing 50mph. 60mph on car speedometers is technically 56mph. It's actually a government law for car manufacturers. Buses/Coaches/Lorries/Vans speedometers are accurate.

  • I'm irish and i did did continental work for 3yrs. Through the bean 110kph 2nd lane and 3rd lane when needed every wk.Couldn't beat it with a big stick.

  • Had a 530 Scania sitting at 130kph on the M40 many a night, loaded to 40ton, yee haa. Many a time pulled out Glasgow at 4am, stitting in dover at 12.00 (8hrs drining) and on the 12.2Onoon Norfolk line boat in 143 450 Scania, flat out and non stop, and we wonder what gives us Irish a bad name in the bean!!!
