I have been trying to make stars a little bigger but they will not puff up. Do you have any suggestions?

Most of the time its because the folding isnt tight enough. If the paper's too loose then there isnt enough tension to 'puff up'

So basically, just try to keep'em folds tight

I have a question, how do you make the star into the kind of fat shape? because when I get to the pinching part my star is flat

The star does start off flat. It's more like poking than pinching, hold the other four sides then use your thumb to poke the side in and it'll prop up the paper into one fifth of a star-shape.

Repeat that five times and you've got yourself a star =)

I didnt want to make him cry,ok I will, but how long is the star paper you use? because I dont have any but I se magazine paper and I think it might be the same, also sometimeswhen I make 1 star then it falls apart at end, do you know why?

If its regular (say copy) paper, ratio is 1:16-ish

If the paper has a lower gsm, then simply make it a lil longer

Dont be discouraged, when everyone starts out, there are a number of stars that frankly just crap-out on you

the main one i used in the video are from any one of those asian stores in the craft section (-star paper's easy to find, theyre just strips of shiny paper ina packet).

then again, using cut-up strips of regular paper is easier to obtain.
