I don't know if I can say I am used to it. It is just one of those things that you know is inevitable and you prepare as best you can. Temps like this are dangerous and it makes people uneasy. A simple problem like a flat tire or a furnace malfunction can be disasterous.

maybe if i,d moved to Canada 30yrs ago, i might have got used to that by now! ( i did consider it )
The coldest temp recorded here was -27... almost weather for shorts :)
