good vid but free kicks r easy if u know how, ur in a good position n ur playin as a good team as they usually have a free kick specialist (basically dont play as macclesfield or sumin lol) easy way for free kicks is to run at defence an use right stick (no L2) to push slightly to the side just as defender goes for tackle a lot of trips come like that. then just hold L1 for power shot n hold shoot 2 just start of yellow an aim for top corner

Hey, is there a way to cause free kicks. I have fifa 09 on xbox 360 and i would only get like 1 free kick in like every 5 games played. I mean i always break free but the defenders would just pull me back or outrun me and take away the ball.....Is there a way to like flop and get a free kick like in basketball. I usually play against friends offline by the way. Am new to fifa 09 so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

One way which you can try to get more free kicks is by changing your opponents teams custom settings so they are more aggressive... that way when you get free they will chase you down but more likely hack you. check out some tutorial vids on youtube for the best ways to take free kiks, power shot is easiest but curling looks awesome.

you can also put the settings onto legendary, that way they throw themselfs trying to win the ball and as they do jus turn away

wat i like to do the most is just simply dribble the ball n if timed rite on ur pass the comp or opponent will trip u or foul u =D

free kicks are quite easy in fifa 09 but nice anyways.

Bad that they not make same things for ps3 360and ps2.even with diferent grafics it will be more fun to play with more kinds of thing for ps2.i mean if they make same like on 360 for all platforms but with diferent grafics it will be funnier
