  • That was disappointingly lacking in meaningful substance :-(

  • Your atheist because you think its the truth, right.....?????? Well the truth is there is a God, so, get with the program already. SEEK HIM WITH YOUR WHOLE HEART BECAUSE YOU WANT TO and you'll find him he says. Well I (Former atheist) did and I did find him.

  • @Wolverine4762 YOU'RE*

  • @Wolverine4762 if u seek anything with ur whole heart you will find whatever you want.

  • @TheOrionStar Who told you that lie. Anyway there is a God you're just too ignorant to accept it.

  • @Wolverine4762

Pokemon are real. You're just too ignorant to accept it.

  • @iCHARRLZ Don't let that devil trick you.

  • I was once a Christian, now I'm an atheist. The stages went through something like this. After a while, I admitted I didn't believe in the Bible, but still called myself a Christian. Then I said I wasn't really a Christian, but believed in God. Then I believed in a "higher power", then I called myself agnostic, then realized I was an atheist. I think our society will go through a similar progression, and we are in stage 1. It will take generations, but the trend seems clear.

  • @DandAinTac

I used to be a Christian like you but then I took an arrow to the knee.

  • @ArsonistInUrFirewall This is the second time I've seen this phrase used, but I have no idea what it means. Please enlighten me.

  • @DandAinTac

Its from a video game series called elder scrolls.

It is a huge game with only few audio files, so a lot of the people keep saying the same things, if you hang around the guards, they keep saying "I used to be an adventurer like you but then I took an arrow in the knee" over and over again.

  • @ArsonistInUrFirewall Ah--that explains it. I'm not into modern computer games, so of course I was clueless when I kept seeing this phrase pop up. Thanks.

  • Why would someone's belief in God bother an atheist?

...And after all (in a naturalistic world) , we're all just biologically predetermined to "believe" whatever it is we believe.

  • @EVSjahms Some peoples' beliefs can, and tend to be, harmful to the well-being of others. The threat of eternal punishment for the 'crime' of disbelief is in no way a healthy concept that is at the very least an abhorrent idea, and at the very worst, can lead to homicidal/suicidal/genocidal actions. To say that believing in God(s) is not harmful is deluded.

Do the Islamic extremists make you fear for your well-being or safety? If so, you know how Non-believers feel about the threats of religion

  • @BokuwaFdesu @BokuwaFdesu A falacy of equivocation there. 1.Some people that are very dangerous believe in a God.

    2. X, Y, and Z believe in God.

    3. Therefore X, Y, and Z are very dangerous. I think your comment really applies to radical Islam, not the totality of belief in God. Are there beliefs that are dangerous? Yes. Does that mean belief in God is necissarily dangerous? No. We are both assuming we are more than predetermined physical reactions, aren't we?

  • @EVSjahms I apologize for using said fallacy and revoke my previous statement. It still stands that dangerous beliefs should be shunned and if possible diminished, but my reasoning was flawed. I would like to hear how you came to the conclusion that we are "predetermined physical reactions" though, without referring to the fact that we act. That is already understood, but what is not understood is how we, or our actions, are predetermined. Please do not use metaphysical or supernatural causes.

  • @BokuwaFdesu Ah, yeah, I'll clarify, cuz I was running out of characters. What I mean is that naturalists don't have philosophical grounds to blame a person for their beliefs cuz we'd only be reacting to uninterruptable physical/ chemical reactions. I just put up a video about it yesterday. See what you think, it's on my channel.

  • @EVSjahms Yes, at our core, we are just chemicals, but those chemicals interact differently on minute scales in each person. You understand how small, numerous changes make up a bigger change correct? First of all, one does not need a philosophical ground to blame beliefs if they have a solid, physical consequence, which they do. Childhood indoctrination, supporting anti-human rights movements(whether active or by not speaking out), hindering education. This list is a long one. (Cont.)

  • @BokuwaFdesu Each person is different, this is fact. So to say that our beliefs are grounded or that we are predisposed to those beliefs on the grounds that we are chemical reactions is setting up a non sequitur. "We are chemical interactions ergo we believe certain things because our chemicals deem it so" is not only false, but faulty logic.

  • 1:38 Take a note sheep.

  • PONIES

  • APES ARE QUITE COMFORTABLE IN HOW THEY WALK, just as humans are quite comfortable in how they walk. Even a slight change in the position of a muscle or bone, for either, would be excruciatingly painful and would not be an advantage for survival. There's no hard evidence that humans evolved from ape-like creatures anymore than there's hard evidence that apes evolved from four-legged-pawed dog-like creatures. Read Internet article: MISSING LINKS THAT NEVER WERE.

  • @Mogley52

The fossil record shows otherwise, quit lying.

  • ALL REAL EVOLUTION ( i.e. varieties of dogs, cats, etc.) in nature is the expression, over time, of already existing genes. Evolution is possible only if there’s information (genes) directing it. Only variations of already existing genes are possible, which means only limited evolution and adaptations are possible. Nature has no ability to invent new genes via random mutations caused by random environmental forces. That’s evolutionary faith, not science. Read my article, WAR AMONG EVOLUTIONISTS!

  • @666nnykiller666 You're a troll. Don't feed it guys.

  • It's starting people! Reason is worming its way into the sharper minds of the world, we aren't nearly so alone as we were even a few years ago. This is really exciting.

  • Advice from a crazy religious fat woman- In brining up good Christian kids you must always remember one thing; new ideas are the most ungodly thing there is in this world. So keep them kids studying the bible and not this devolution.

  • Eventually everyone will be an atheist, and Christians will say, "God made it that way." ...although Christians will just be fans of the myth by then, like Tolkien fans.

  • ★★★★★

  • Not only is it going to be bigger but the majority of people are going to be atheists, just look at Sweden. 85% are atheists (and the believers are mostly... let’s just say not intellectuals), it can actually be quite boring not having anyone to argue with. Anyway, the rest of the world is going to catch up eventually.

  • @dullan123 ??? There are more things to argue than religion... also the remaining 15% aren't necessarily unintelligent....I've met unintelligent Swedish people who were atheistic and that's because I studied abroad there. Most people don't make it a part of their lives because they weren't raised in it....not because they have a high IQ or are scientific.

  • Man does anyone else love the feeling when you have a massive turd nugget lodged in your rectum rubbing against your prostate and poking its head occassionally out of your anal sphincter like a prairie dog, possibly even touching cloth?

  • A man travels to Laos to have sex with a child after a spike has been driven into her brain to cause her to convulse while he engages in unspeakable acts with her until she dies, and never gets caught..

A Soldier dives on a hand grenade while in a bunker with his friends, knowing his family will never see him again, sacrificing himself in the process.

To tell me there is no justice and neither man will be punished or rewarded after death is absurd.

  • @brucebu It's not absurd, it's just that life is unfair by our standards.

  • The humans giving accusations against the atheist calling themselves Christians are not Christians for the simple fact they are giving accusations, and the only being working through men who accuse is Satan. Things are backwards to what humans have thought for a long time.

  • this show ia an insparation

  • To no form of religion is woman indebted for one impulse of freedom, as all alike have taught her inferiority and subjection.

    -- Elizabeth Cady Stanton

  • The future's looking bright.

  • Sorry, not a heavy philosophical question, but does anyone know the name of the song being played in this clip?

  • Comment removed

  • Oh, all of you Christians, Jews and Muslims have got it all wrong... there is only one true god... well no... he has quite an extended family of fellow deities...

BUT ANYHOO! When I die I will feast on venison and mead for all eternity with him and other Vikings in Valhallah!

I have a person relationship with Mr. Wotan. PROVE ME WRONG!!!

(Adendum : this is a satirical comment aimed at theists to consider their own atheism regarding my 'delusion' of a Scandinavian deity).

  • not to piss on their parade, but Atheism is dying out faster than any religion or cult may be. Atheism will be an extinct concept by 2050. People will come to their senses and realize atheism is a delusion.

  • @smartwarlord

Err, no. If you had any knowledge of world statistics at all you would know that religious percentages have been plummeting decade by decade. Europe, once the centre of Christianity, is now around 48% atheistic if not more as of 2005, with church attendance also falling. Atheism in the US is on the rise with 16% of its population no longer believing in personal deities (2007), up from 8% in 1990.

These trends aren't stopping or slowing down; they're accelerating.

  • @smartwarlord wake up

  • @smartwarlord Why? Before 2050 will evidence be presented that proves the existence of god?

  • @ikkoikki

There can be no evidence of a being without existence.

  • @smartwarlord my point exactly

  • the answer to the man on the rights last question is very simple. isn't it better to get something you want without asking?

  • Atheism doesn't have much of a future. Jesus Christ will be returning to take what is rightfully his and he will establish his kingdom here on Earth. The people who love Jesus Christ will be allowed to stay and live with him for eternity! The others, like the atheists who deny and hate Jesus Christ, will be tossed into a lake of fire for eternity and be forgotten about. Time to WAKE UP people!!! REPENT of our evil sins and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation!!! He saves!!!!! God bless!

  • @chris62008 lol... Child.

  • @jymbo1969

It's not too late!!! Jesus Christ is waiting for you! Go! Go and give your life to Jesus Christ!!! GO!!!!

  • @chris62008 You poor bastard.

  • @chris62008

    HHHHMMMmmmmmmm.

Very emotional and threatening. You've got me teetering on the edge. Shall I give myself to Jesus?

    HHMmm. Just not quite sure.

Can you show me some evidence?

How do I know you're telling me the truth? Another chap was telling me I should go and give myself to Allah. Yet another bloke was claiming that I should listen to him, and that only he was telling me the truth.

But I'm left wondering who I should believe, (if anyone).

    What rationally/logically convinced you?

  • @chris62008

Thank you for TELLING us what to do!

  • When has evidence and reason ever lost except with the most gullible people. Though some still think the earth is flat they are an exceedingly small minority of complete crackpots. Christianity and all other religions that ask people to believe in a supernatural entity will go the way of flat earth theory.

  • What are you guys talking about? Star Trek has already confirmed that the future is just like Lennon imagined it. No god. No money. No countries.

  • I think global, so atheism is no minority, 99.9% of all species on this planet are atheists, only the stupid animals believe in the weird stuff...

  • i think the thing with islam and women is not a problem of religion but a problem of culture.

The same goes for the racism in america (which by the way is ridiculously big compared to european or asian countrys). according to the constitution all people are equal. yet there is racism. white racists can care about the constitution as a whole but still act like assholes.

And Muslims treat their women bad in countries where it is common to treat women bad.

  • @Y0ts0 "i think the thing with islam and women is not a problem of religion but a problem of culture."

How can it be only cultural when the quran and hadith make no mistake that women are 2nd class citizens under islam?

  • @byteresistor

you are right. but in secular countries, if not in an cultural bubble, muslims will follow the cultural norm and woun't treat women like property. and muslim women with a western view (developed through living in a western society for example) would never to much self esteeme to let a man controle her life.

there are many bad pasages in the bible to (like "kill nonchristians") and the great majority of christians just ignore them for the sake of a better world or at least peace.

  • like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like.

    Shut up already.

  • you need proof? read the bible, ass holes.

  • @cklckll who are you talking to.. and proof of what?

  • @cklckll And in what way is that any kind of proof outside of it being a book that many mindlessly follow?

  • @eslgateways Well eslgateways, every person from every religion that isn't yours is thinking the same thing about you. Atheists however just want you to quit being a dick and trying to make everyone else's life as lame as yours and for you to stop trying to hold back any area of science you feel is going in a direction which might contradict your fear based beliefs, or at least that's what this atheist would like to happen.

  • checkmate! no, really I just won at chess!

and also your religion is viscious, mindless, regressive nonsense. the murderous superstitions of illiterate desert tribes is the LAST place we should be seeking rational ideas in the modern world. we live in a world where technology has made it ineviable that we either come to grips with our social evolution and embrace it or we will all perish in man made fire. there is no way to undo our technological advances and going back to the cave man life.

  • @zackmahal

This is what you think , we think different, we think that we are heros, we resist the oppressions the wrongfull of your people in our countries.

The second thing that you do know nothing about Islam ,did you ask your self only ones, WAY people in all world inter the Islam ?

I chalenge you and you never asked me !

Just talking with out any knowleage, I told you 0

  • muslim countries are invariably backwards, primitve places that scream out at the world to return to pre-enlightenment brutality, ignorance and paranoia. this is BECAUSE of islam NOT the west. as a matter of fact if there were not a drop of oil in all of the muslim world there would be zero interest in you at all exept as a anthropological oddity bordering of an obscentity.

  • I know this of islam: it preaches iron age primitism, slavery, oppression of 51% of ITS OWN population (we call them women, you call them property), conquest of the entire world and a viscious hatred of science. there has never been one shred of evidence for the existence of the abrahamic god(s) and none is likely forthcoming. if you want to promote social equity for your people and be a real 'hero' abandon the fascist religion you claim and step into the 21st century with the rest of humanity.

  • @zackmahal yeah, that's a total misrepresentation of the Islam religion. You know literally nothing sir, maybe you should read up on some facts before you start spouting your uneducated and irrational hatred. Sound fair?

  • @OpinionatedAussie fair enough. world religions including islam are demonstrably wrong about cosmology, geology, biology, history and ethics. there is zero evidence of a deity of any kind and therefore belief in allah or any such creature is irrational at best. there is not one compelling reason to view islam as anything other than a massive cult that thrives on the ignorance of its followers and the violence it threatens to non-believers and indeed any moderate voice from within its own ranks.

  • @zackmahal you haven't made it any better, i've studied, in some depth, the Islamic religion, it's not nearly as hateful or oppressive as you make it out to be. Fun Islam fact, women are held in higher regard than men, and in a mosque are given the upper level of the mosque for prayer while the men have only the floor. There ya go, you learn something new every day

  • @OpinionatedAussie so, women being shackled, hidden, oppressed, denied basic human rights like voting/going out in public/testifying in a court of law, beaten and stoned to death are 'fun facts'? I guess we have a different idea about what 'fun' is. islam is utter, contrived nonsense that in a reasonable society would be ignored. will studying this collection of made up fairy tales make me less critical of it? not very likely. mythologies like islam are first and foremost completely untrue.

  • @OpinionatedAussie em, it presents itself in such way liek "teenage girl has his nose and ears chopped off cause of sharia law, for running away from a husband or groom(cant remember withc it was)"

  • @zackmahal SECULARISM FTW WOOH

  • @zackmahal

ah shut up man. You are an idiot. The islamic lands were occupied and still are in crisis of occupation. The western powers colonized them for hundred of years, and now you expect that they live like kings. Before of that, the muslims were on highest level in sience and civilisation. In that time the europeans lived like cave inhabitants, primitv and stupid.

Just wait, the game will change soon. People are reverting to Islaam every day . Gods religion is Islaam=devotion

  • @Azarel011

of course the muslim response to criticism of their faith and culture is 'shut up'. understandable as neither of can withstand the slightest scrutiny. a barbaric cult of slaughter and degradation on the one hand and a third of the planet mired in their own shitty patriarchal kleptocracy on the other. you are right that once the muslim world was the most advanced technologically but that all stopped 500 years before any occupation BECAUSE of islam. 'reverting' to islam is so accurate

  • @Azarel011 ...cont.

another thing: muslims are so fond of proclaiming how their religion will conquer the world. and how would they do this? through compelling proselytizing? no. by demonstrating the virtues of islam? no. they always say through blind mob violence. you would turn back the clock and burn every book and degrade the 51% of us who are not men, you would have all learning thrown unto great pyres and damn the human race to live as tormented animals. this is YOUR legacy,

  • @Azarel011

    Hah! You're right!

West is so weak and fragile. And you muslim pussies were too fucking pathetic and useless to defend yourselves. Moreover, you sissy allah-humping cunts are STILL taking it up the ass from the west. Should probably spend less time kneeling talking to yourselves for half your useless lives and torturing your women, pathetic douchebags.

  • @zackmahal Hah, well said. Very poignant too. Perhaps if there were a concerted effort towards creating a different motor that runs clean (i dismiss the idea of removing roads altogether because of their ubiquitous nature) then the world might come to ignore those backwards societies. However, I might go so far as to say that these engines have already been invented but are downtrodden by large companies and APEC

  • @zackmahal

The problem with that arguement though is that the Muslim countries used to be the centre of science, medicine and arts in the whole world.....

Plus not ALL muslim countries are backwards, if you look at UAE for example.

  • @OrthodoxDarwinist they key phrase here is "used to be". Now they're backward and primitive. And even in the UAE, a relatively wealthy 1st world nation, Homosexuality is illegal and apostasy is punishable by the death penalty.

  • @zackmahal Ok?

So africa is poor to because of superstition?

So it has nothing to do with loans or lack of education, its all about religion?

  • @zackmahal You are arrogantly ignorant to the spiritual aspect of mankind. Technological advances are fine but you paint the picture that we are all knowing. The fact is we know far less than you are depicting. I am a scientist and a Physician who teaches medical school and comments like yours are illogical in the paradigm of the universe. Eye's wide shut best describes your cavalier attitude and statements.

  • @drjackflash

utter nonsense. I paint no such picture and I challenge you to support that mindless claim with any of the words I have written. I am arrogant? it is not I who claims 'total knowledge' about the origins and indeed meaning of existence and that is EXACTLY what religion does no more and certainly no less. 'spiritual' is a word without substance, prove to me it describes a real phenomemon and not yet another mechanism for limiting humanity. bring evidence and I will listen.

  • Which Eddie Current video is that from?

  • there is no Allah, there, i did it, Whee

    Now convert to Atheism.

    MWA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!

  • @lalzm1 And I said it, nothing happened, so wupti fucking due, I just proved, by your standards, that your religion is false, because if positive manifestation is proof, then negative manifestation is disproof, agreed?

  • No, praise Christ.

  • @whittleddownbattery

    No, praise Allah.

  • @whittleddownbattery

    No, praise Quetzalcoatl

  • The fact that there exist many forms of religion is proof enough that religion is nothing more than a check and balance on society. The only thing that religion serves for today aside from making tax-free money, is to help us rational individuals know who the cattle and sheep of our modern day society so we can exclude them from matters of intellect. Go pray for some real answers.

    Checkmate Creationist.

  • Why do I have to drink someone's urine just because he/she claims it enlarges my penis?

  • Something must have a creator. Didn't you just say that? Every number times 0 equals 0 except for number 9 am i rite?

  • they are a little too confident that there is no God. I mean you can't ever really know.

  • The Internet will kill religion. Curious children will learn from it and start to raise questions. Religion will rot from the bottom(youngest) up.

  • LMAO, ironic religion starts with targeting the youngsters.

  • That's right. Children will become religion's achille's heel. There's virtually no stopping it. I mean, pre-Internet what hope did children have of combating religious indoctrination? Little compared to now having access to VAST amounts of reasonable counter arguments... clear scientific responses... growing communities of atheists to provide encouragement and advice. I really believe this will happen.

  • @thecamlayton

No doubt! I've said it to others as well. We are in the information age. When I was a kid we didn't have the Internet (makes me sound old - lol). Knowledge is now so easily accessible. A curious kid can easily search for themselves instead of just relying on what their parents and priest tells them.

  • Just wondering if Atheist organizations get to skip on taxes like churches do?

  • @Scott19seventy5 Hey fella, atheism is a non-prophet organization. hehehe...!

  • they're in Austin!? awesome!

  • lol near the end.

"oh the great god of peak a boo.""

    haha i love it.

  • I've been extremely worried about that lately! Thats why I am gonna have lots of kids, to avoid ignorance spreading.

  • @TheMathKing. Yes, if you are a reasonable person PLEASE have more kids. For the future of our planet! lol

  • I think it is more important to provide information to children about how to think logically, and teach them to question things. Children come into this world looking for answers and look up to elders for understanding. They must understand early on that it's OK to question beliefs and to not simply accept anything and everything that comes out of an elder's mouth. Of course, it's a tough battle when parents have already told them not to believe anyone other than mom and dad.

  • @JamesMorlan. You and I are in complete agreement then. Children should not be brainwashed, but left to decide for themselves. And I bet the rise of atheism in the last decade is going to make religious parents more adamant that the kids believe in it, unfortunately.

  • @JamesMorlan if they DO think logically, they'll come to the conclusion that there IS god

  • @SevTSnape

And just what principles of logic are you referring to that could possibly lead someone to conclude that? Every line of logical thinking I've ever followed has led me further from that conclusion. The deeper I look, the less likely it seems. If there is a God, it is as if he created logic as yet just another distraction put in our way to "confuse us" and make it harder to find him. Logic does not lead to God, but bypassing or ignoring it completely does.

  • you must be an atheist

    its quite simple actually

even the stupidest person can logically come to the conclusion

nothing creates itself; everything has an origin

  • really...so youre trying to say the worlds brightest minds are stupid...but you, a gullible muslim who has been b rainwashed and is TOO SCARED to think for himself isnt lol

if its quite simple...PROVE an allah & explain why despite millions of desperates trying NOT ONE has ever come up with a single shred of even anything to support any allah or creationism theory..NOTHING

now WHEN did adam live lol...do tell

& muslims MURDERED 80 million hindus..and mohammed KILLED INNOCENTS

  • it has been proven

    you choose not to believe

    Adam lived around 200,000 years

Prophet Hud (Eber) lived among the people of Eram

prophet salih lived among the nation of aad

    both have archaeological remains

the prophet never killed any1. the decision was made among the jewish tribe's own, Saad bin Abi Waqqas, by the jurisdiction of the torah and their acceptance

the sentence was carried out by Saad on the men. the property left. the women and infirmed left

  • the muslims didnt murder 80 million hindus.

during the indo-pak struggles the hindus manged to kill millions of muslims

not only is your islamic history wrong, but world history too

  • @SevTSnape

Funny, you must be a creationist. They don't realize how self-refuting their own "logic" is. They say that nothing creates itself, then they say nothing created God. They say everything has an origin...except for God, and that God is eternal.

Yeah, that makes sense. I can see how even the stupidest person can logically come to that conclusion.

  • that is because before the universe, before dimensions, before heaven and hell all of which God created God existed

He is The First (Al-Awwal) and The Last (Al-Akhir). It's simple to understand this concept.

    Everything has an origin. True

Before everything, there was one, the Almighty God.

Also atheism is simply a religion of those who've had a bad life, been neglected by god, or see science as the answer to all things. When, oddly enough, science came AFTER God. Science in the A.D.

  • Secondly, you cannot speak of "before" when speaking of the universe, because time is a function of matter, and thus if nothing existed "before" the universe, then there would be no "before" to refer to. You cannot speak of a god in terms of what we know in this universe. If you can say God always existed, you can just as easily say the universe has always existed (and in that case, even simplify the equation and eliminate the concept of creation all together). What is God's origin?

  • Not true. People become atheists because believe there's no good is easy.

  • @SevTSnape

    What's not true?

I never became an atheist. I was born that way.

Your sentence was poorly structured, so I am unable to decipher it. Tell me again why you think people "become" atheists, because what you wrote simply made no sense.

  • Believing no god is easy. You deny the fact that everything in creation was done by god but MERE CHANCE. Believing in God means you use your brain.

  • @SevTSnape

Believing in a god is super easy, because it doesn't require any evidence. That's what faith is. I don't deny any facts. I live by facts. But facts are a dime a dozen, and are really interpretations of what we see. When I let go of a ball it drops to the ground. This is a fact. I can see that, demonstrate it. WHY it falls to the ground requires further exploration, but we don't just make shit up to explain it. God, on the other hand, has no clear evidence, if any at all.

  • Believing there's no god is easy actually.

People do JUDGE what they see.

But, God is not human. Nor animal. Nor jinn. If you were to see God, who would create you? Who would run this universe?

To believe in God, you don't have to see him. You have to know he's there. A GOD that you can see is a fake. God is above all creation. If God showed himself to you, you'd go blind.

  • So, a God that is not detectable in any way cannot have any influence over the natural world, so how can one even begin to imagine thinking about the possibility of considering that a god might could possibly exist?

  • There are somethings you just can't say I didn't see, so it doesn't exist. You never saw the Pharoahs. You never saw galaxies or planets. You never saw the Greeks. How do you believe that?

It's a sad time when you believe only what you see. That way, humans would be the most stupid of all creation.

  • I see planets almost every night. I can look up and see Mars, or Jupiter, sometimes Venus. And on moonless nights, I can see the Andromeda galaxy from here. We have rovers on Mars and pictures of all the outer planets, even of the surface of Venus. How can you tell me I never saw galaxies or planets? That's ludicrous. I haven't once told you what you didn't see, so don't be so presumptuous. The Greeks left evidence of their existence. What do you need?

  • And, FYI, I don't believe only what I see. You have to look at things in many ways from many perspectives to put the pieces together and gain an understanding. With religion, what is there but words to go on. Certainly, you don't believe everything you hear and read, do you?

  • @JamesMorlan that's exactly my point. with religion, you have that

  • sev..if you had any brains you would know that astronomy existed 'thousands' of years before koran

of course, its you who is dumb thinking that we, the non believer in your allah, believe only what we see

surely you are not as stupid as you come across

  • There is a 'before' in the universe.

The universe has not always existed. It was made through the big bang.

God always was there. That's why I said. The First.

Humans cannot comprehend what being The First means. Human knowledge is limited. To understand God as being The First and always existing and thinking about the universe will confuse you. You should just know the universe was made.

  • Your reasoning makes no sense. To say something is The First implies a before. There is before WITHIN the universe, but not "outside" of it, as time is a function of this universe. Also to say something is first, implies that it has a beginning. You even stated that all things have an origin. But you cannot explain God's origin, other than he was The First, or has always existed.

I don't know that the universe was made - no one does. It appears to have an origin, but no creator required.

  • You also do not understand science. ALL science is, is a method of OBSERVATION! So, in a sense, I would have to agree with you - science came after God - as what need do you have to actually THINK about stuff if you simply believe God will provide?

  • People don't believe God will provide. If you ask for money, it won't come to you. You have to work for it,

  • How can you possibly say that? People believe all the time that God will provide! Have you never witness anyone in your entire life who believes that? You can't possibly be that out of touch.

Yes, the reality is you have to work for anything in your life, because you can't get something from nothing. But in practice, people believe that you can. And they try. "Please, God, make it rain!" "Please, God, let her live!" "Please, God, gimmie, gimmie, gimmie!"

  • @SevTSnape Who or what created god?

  • He was always there

why don't atheists believe in God? what proof do you have that He doesn't exist?
