The original copy was auctioned 13 December 2007, at Sotheby's in London, and was expected to sell for around £50,000 ($103,000). But the book far exceeded this and sold for £1.95 million ($3.98 million).

I just got mine. But I haven't been able to open it yet! Im so excited you don't even know. I love how even the box it was shipped in said Muggles: don't open till December 4th. So creative :D Im probably going to get a fire proof case so I don't lose it. :P
How could you wait to find your camera before opening it! As soon as my Amazon box was in my hands, I was opening it with my teeth! Also my 'stones' on the cover of the book are much darker than the ones you have.
Did you guys like how I mangled the name of the book in this video? I called it "Tales of the Beedle Bard" instead of "Tales of Beedle The Bard". Oh, well... lol

the skull is kind of ugly,isn't it?

The orginal sold at Sotherby's in England for 2 MILLION pounds, thats almost 4 MILLION american!! (3 million some roughly)
