I think the clavinet pickup needs to be turned up on the Yamaha Piano patch for it to be authentically wet sounding. Does the NE3 have this like the NE2 did?

Its the closest youll get bar the real thing and maybe Scarbee sample sets but that involves dragging round a laptop. Also the audio is just from the camera so its not the best. I have all the real keys here and it get very close, particularly the clavs.

How are the feel of the keys on this? I'm really interested in buying one, but I like to have weighted, and I really do not like the one kind of keys, I don't know what their called but they're very light and springy like the Motif 7. I'm assuming they are kind of a mix in between? Can anyone kind of give me an idea of how they are on the electro 3? I use a Yamaha S90 ES, Yamaha Motif 7 ES, and a Korg Triton Studio 88 key, so if you can use any of them as a comparison that'd be awesome

Keys are nicely sprung, fairly light but with a good amount of resistance so you can still play piano parts accurately..takes a bit of getting used to but very playable and controllable and feels good even for pianos

tough call, but for all round versatility the stage. the advantages of the Ne3 are the C1 organ which is subtly different and the sample playback. the stage is a great controller and is multitimbral for layering sounds, better fx/fxcontrol, great synth..lots to love about the stage.

an autowah is a wah-effect which is controlled by the velocity and attack instead of a footpedal
