  • NYLAH!!!

  • thumbs up if bf vs gf brought you here

  • TEAM NYLAHHH SAAN!

  • @JCapitals8 Nope.

  • @JCapitals8 Wild pertains to how they were raised, so no, they aren't 100% wild. If they were raised as a pet or in captivity, no, they aren't wild. Also, you're contradicting yourself by saying they're all wild but then mentioning domestic servals.

  • I do miss the most extreme I used to watch it all the time!! Now animal planet well it kinda sucks now

  • hehehe that bit with the bird is hilarious - feathers everywhere just like a cartoon XD

  • I've done some research, and since I'm never gonna own a Cheetah (the most incredible animals on earth) I will have a serval one day. So friggin beautiful.

  • @greentea1494

Evolutionarily speaking, Cheetahs are the children of Servals as it was Servals which Cheetahs evolved from.

PS - Would love to buy a ranch and live with a clan of Cheetahs myself.

    Not financially feasible though.

  • @SavannahsRUs lol a cheetah ranch would be badass

  • @greentea1494 If you really think that these are the most incredible animals in the world, then leave wild cats in their habitat. A more animal friendly option is buying a Savannah. This is a domestic cat with serval ancestry.

  • @greentea1494

lions are better in my opinion

  • I love servals, they're so beautiful

  • servals are waaaay higher than number 9!

  • Nice education video!

  • my friend has one. her name is nahla. and she payed $22,000.00 for her

  • what a beauty!

  • he is so beautiful

  • wow. those feathers really flew ;_;

  • stunning creature

  • number 9?! Their kill success rate is more than three times that of most cats!

  • dude. he fucking baited the bird with a rodent, didn't injure the rodent, and then picked him up to use again. thats the smartest damn cat ive ever seen.

  • Beautiful cat.

  • At 1:37 it is funny because they're fighting to the death, and the mouse is just watching, nibbling on a small twig.

  • The Serval is my favorite African Animal! It Is Awesome.

  • eagle : 0 serval: 100000000000000000000000

  • they are beautiful animals that have been pets since there existence first with the Egyptians and i am working on getting a permit to get one as a pet animals are better off as pets to a good owner there aren't any predators in a house

  • @shainescheetz

How can you decide what is best for a wild animal? How would you like it if I kept you in my house as a pet, and you couldn't leave the house unless you were on a leash, because I said I thought you would be better off as a pet since you wouldn't have to worry about unemployment or poverty?

You're just making excuses so it makes you feel alright about imprisoning an animal that wants nothing more than to live the life it was meant to.

  • @maximum411 And who are YOU to say what the animal wants? You don't have any idea what it wants.

  • @yayrupees

Most wild animals like living in the wild.

  • @maximum411 And how do you know that? can you somehow get into it's brain and find out what it wants? You can't tell me that I don't know what it wants and then go say YOU know what it wants. Because you don't.

  • @yayrupees

True, I don't, but it's a reasonable assumption. Animals evolve so that their instincts and desires fit the environment they have historically lived in. If you take an animal out of its natural environment and place it in a completely different one, it will most likely be unable to act on many of its instincts and fulfill its desires. That will not make for a happy animal.

  • get a savannah

its a hybrid of serval and a domestic cat

  • wouldn't it be fa(sshole)ncygecko

Try doing your own insults correctly next time madam you look like an imbecile

  • one word Boing!

  • liger, its a cross between a lion and a tiger....

    its like my FAVORITE animal

  • i hate them > well not hate them but theyr prolly my least favorite cat

  • It's gorgeous... I love servals, they're amazing.

  • Suuch very awesome cats. They will always be my favourite wildcat!

  • i don't know that you can say "this cat is better than that cat" the felines are, from the smallest to the biggest, the most amazing creatures to grace this ball of rock we live on.

  • Oh, I wasn't saying it was better than any other cat, I was saying this one's my favourite. ♥

Amen to that. Cats are by far the most wonderful creatures I have ever seen.

  • such an awesome cat.

    i wish i had one.

    :D

  • カッコイイ!!

  • i watch this video, veryyyyy oftennnnn, nicee

  • this is a good video

  • I know quite a number of owners with servals using litterboxes just fine, well mannered and trained. I can see servals being lousy pets for lousy owners. There's nothing wrong with capable people owning one. I rather see these animals thrive in the wild, as there are lots of irresponsible people, people without a clue, wanting one. Not to mention idiotic breeders out there still promoting and requiring a declaw operation before selling them. IF YOU WANT A DECLAWED SERVAL, GO SCREW YOURSELF NOW!

  • They are legal in Texas-no surprise where all the shitholes of the world come from-like Bush! Even organized big game hunts are legal there. Let the next terrorist attack demolish Texas, we would all be better off.

  • wtf is your problem with texas huh?there's alot of people here, and the earth's population would go down by quite a bit

just because im eleven years old i bet i know more than you do about wild animals and what not so fuck off.

  • There is no point in bagging Texas. Not every single person is bad, its like saying every single American is a fat trucker, its just not true.

Big game hunts are fine. If there is big game that is a pest there, then go ahead, hunt it for all i care. Its better that a couple of pests die, and get used for their resources, than farming and people's careers being threatened.

  • the one species desreving extinction is the one causing it. save the world. shoot a farmer.

  • The most EXtreme!

  • What episode of THE MOST EXTREME is this one?

  • "Killer Cats"

  • thank you for the information!

  • wow! incredible clip! beautiful cat! them ears got to be radar to catch rodents that small!!where can i buy one!!

  • Servals aren't legal to own as pets in many states. In states where they're legal, often a permit is required. For most they are lousy pets. They require a large outdoor enclosure (they won't use a litter box) and LOTS of time. They're a lifelong commitment as they tend to only bond with their 1st owner. No one should get a Serval until working with them hands-on for a minimum of 500 hours. The vast majority of folks will quickly realize they arern't capable of properly caring for them.

  • My brother has an F2 and its a brillant cat. He lives in an apartment. THey are just fine cats. As long as you get them hung they are absoutly fine.

  • Servals are not classified by foundations F1, F2 etc... You must be referring to a Savannah. A serval hybrid cat.

  • why would somebody get a serval as a pet they should stay in the wild

  • why should they stay wild -- they are pets all over Africa -- they make great pets, and have been pets for over 1,000 years. They live longer as pets.

  • They should stay in the wild because they are born wild. domestic cats we have now self domesticated themselves along time ago but servals havent. it is inhumane to force them into domestication because they are already wild.

  • All animals that are pets now had been wild at some point, and I'm sure most people, even including yourself, has had a pet. If they were all once wild, wouldn't that make you inhumane as well?[myself included]

  • ahh on the contrary, not all animals that are pets at this point have been wild, domestic cats (felis silvestris catus) are not from the wild and only know domestication, every house cat in the world spawned from a small amount of common African wildcats. In very much the same way as every human you see now is greatx100000 grandchildren to two main african people, man and woman. If you dont know of this study the African Diaspora. Cats worked in a similar way, but the housecat has never been wild

  • also to add to that, i said it was inhumane to force domestication on a breed of cat so clearly not suited for it, although housecats are self domesticated (humans didnt breed them into our homes) their ancestors the african wildcat are probably alot better suited for domestication. and in the old days domestication didnt involve removal from the wild and being brought into 21st century technology, it was being brought into a house with similar standars as the wild - tapwater, foodsupply etc

  • What business would Africans have with African wildcats? Domesticated cats weren't BORN being with people, they've had a natural fear of people from the beginning. Servals are exactly the same, but we domesticated them. It just wasn't as recent that we domesticated them.

And if you're trying to better yourself by using words you think I don't know, get over yourself. :/

  • Which words dont you know? D= im not trying to show off im trying to explain.

African Wildcats were domesticated yes, but the pets we have now werent alive in that time, the wildcats ended up making what is now a domestic cat, every domestic cat was born in domestic times non have ever been wild minusing stray cats. and like i said before domesticated cats in those times wasnt like bringing a serval into a house with electricity cat food etc. they actually hunted food for their cats.

  • and we still havent domesticated servals only a select few are tamed. being tamed and domestic are different. because domestication usually talks about the whole species of cat. but tamed cats are particular cats. when you say they have been domesticated it means there are no wild servals left. which is untrue. we havent fully domesticated them which is why i think we should stop now before we go too far.

  • I know all the words, disregard that statement.

And I didn't mean domesticated as in the entire species, I meant domesticated as in the select few that have been tamed. Servals have proven to be easily tamed, and I agree that there should be a majority left in the wild. The main point I'm trying to make here is that if they seem to be so easily tamed, wise people who understand how to take care of one and have the money, time, and passion for Servals, they should be able to house one.

  • @1Serval as long as the "pets" come from domestic bred servils or rescued animals, that is fine but unfortunately a lot of them are obtained from the wild. They also need to be taken young or they will never truly be tame and in a lot of cases a protective mother may be killed in order to obtain the young.

  • @SavannahsRUs Your just trying to discourage would-be breeders from bringing the prices down on F-1's. Nice try buddy.

  • @mizfiz71 ummm sorry but you gonna hav to catch 1 lol

    GOOD LUCK!!
