  • i have this EXACT same fan :D

I really liked it but unfortunately it broke :(

    im trying to fix it.

the problem is that the blak wire attached to the fan came out and im not sure how to re-mount it on.

please tell me where it is placed because i forgot and how u think i could put it back on :)

    thankyou

  • 1.- Remove the Motor Sticker

2.- Clean old Glue from the Sticker

3.- Put Artic Silver 5 or any other Thermal Paste

    4.- Install Heatsink on Top.

Get 100% Heat Transfer!! Nice Vid and Good Buy!

  • @skirmich thanks for the tip!

  • I got this for my slash 4x4 and it SUCKED. it made the motor hotter. extremely weak fan.

  • @98Ps3lover seems to work fine for me and my motor doesnt even get as hot as it used to without the fan

  • @chicagodrifters well, we are running 2 totally different rc's sooo

  • @98Ps3lover yup.

  • @98Ps3lover Try changing the motor to the 550 size. I love my slash 4x4, but the 540 size motor always ran a bit hot. Changed over to Tekin SC4X, and it runs crazy fast with a 16 tooth pinion, no fan needed.

  • where did you connect the power supply for the fan? what is the voltage rating of the fan?
