p77 By the way, do you see what I'm NOT arguing for here? I am sharing some helpful wisdom from Buddhism, but I'm not suggesting that if you see the truth of it, you ought to go the whole way & convert to Buddhism. Why should you have to? Think of individual Bible, Stoid, Buddhist, & so forth, insights as delicious fruits on various trees in an orchard. you don't have to swallow the whole darned tree to eat the fruit ! Nor is anything stopping you from picking fruit from several of the trees.
E.A.Wallis Budge translation of, 'The Papyrus of Ani' (1500BCE comp O.T.800-300BCE ish), other great writings are by Donald A. Mackenzie,' Egyptian myth and legend', James G Frazer, 'The Golden Bough', For sceptical Bible scholars try Thomas Paine, Mark Twain, Joseph Wheless, Robert Ingersoll, C.Dennis Mckinsey, Victor J Stenger, Robert M Price, Dan Barker, John W. Loftus, Bart Ehrman, Gary Greenberg, Richard Carrier, David Mills, Valerie Tarico, Ken Humphreys, archaeologist Israel Finkelstein
People exist to convert people to Christianity so they can convert more people so that those people can convert more people.
In other words, life is just God's pyramid scheme.
Wouldn't it be easier for God to just not create people who won't convert? Or just show up and convert people himself, like He does so often in the Old Testament?
@dimel6O few if any believers realize that telling an atheist "god bless you" is an insult to his position. It says "i dont care what you think, i'm the one who's right, dont care if you dont agree with me, i'm right, know it".

"Reason" for ultimate answers?
What a joke.
Robert needs to work in a hospital, nursing home, funeral home, or cemetery for some reality therapy.
Then he needs to become a NEW CREATION in Christ.
He was a christianette for too long.
"And that ye put on the new man, which after God is CREATED in righteousness and true holiness." (Eph 4:24)

This book is a stellar piece of work.
I just finished it last week, and I plan on reading it another time through.
It was enlightening, even to one who sees himself enlightened.
Honest inquiry forever!
