$8 a month, what a racket! Back in 2009 I asked the installer if my U-Verse set top DVR was wireless,he said "they are working on it"; only took 3 more years... Windows Media Center came out what, 8 years ago, and it can do it wireless. AT&T is a tub of lard... TV content has degraded since torrents took over. Monetize torrents for a dime each -n- make everyone happy!
@sjokkopenis The kit was $49 and AT&T shipped it to me. I installed it myself and it was very easy to install & setup. Kit comes with a WiFi access point which connects to the gateway and links the WiFi receiver with the rest of the TV network. Then connects via HDMI or Component to the TV set.
@DocDeano1, seriously, why all the big complicated terms? I have one in my house and works great. Have it on HDMI and pic quality is great. My bro is a cable TV installer for Cox Cable and he tells me of stories of people like you. Pain in the ass customers that make everything so damn difficult. Just use it, if it works, then great, why all the stupid questions? Someone as picky as you should just design your own version of a WiFi STB so u can put your own damn specs in it!
sounds like a good product, but the way explained is so confusing. Lots of numbers.. why not just draw a diagram? Where's the DVR? how many connection ports?

If they were intelligent enough to market their own version that accepted any HDMI and DVI input, they would not be able to keep it on the shelf.

They should make their own version of an istore. They make a Cisco store.

How much? What are the specs? I want one but not through AT&T. Can I buy one at an electronics store?
