she used to be so down to earth and super personal in her songs in her first album. just take "the outside", "place in this world", "tied together with a smile", "tim mcgraw". not that she's not sweet anymore but her first album was taken from personal experience and just life while "fearless" was more about guys and love.

@care4country I see what you mean definitely, I just think the reason that happened was because when she was writing her first album she was in school, and just a normal girl. Once she started writing Fearless she was already becoming successful, and since she writes songs about what's she's going through she can't write a song about going to the mall with her friends every weekend because that's not her lifestyle anymore.

I miss this taylor in some ways, but I also love what she's become. Yeah, it's a lot harder to get meet and greets and concert tickets and such, but she's just grown up so much. She still has the same morals, and even though she's not in high school anymore, she's still the same person. & I will always love her for that.

I wish I could help you but I just recently started putting music to songs, and I'm not that great at it yet. I would recommend getting a private teacher and start off by learning guitar, and being able to sing and play at the same time comes with practice.
