Two comments and both negative. This is a great sale and the owner is a great guy. Before anyone else makes negative comments, try visiting the place first.
IBMeddling, before you make a stupid comment like that, maybe you should actually go to the sale. You walk in there in and you buy whatever books you want. There all a dollar. There's no membership cards; there's no sign up process; they don't even ask for your name. I go there about twice a month and get about 5-7 books, pay them the money and walk out.
sorry, It's just that there are hardly any stores left that does not make customers sign up for the lower price. Just walk into any other book store and You'll see what I mean.
maybe you should actually go there before you make harsh judgments. Or meet the owner, or research the donations he's actually made.

its ok, I know what your saying. It's just that this place is different. It's probably the best discount bookstore I've ever been to.
