Dancer in the dark & Martyrs are 2 different films, Dancer in the dark is about a woman expecting America to be like a hollywood film, Martyrs is about a child abuse & how far were willing to go to protect our friends.

I still found Martyrs a better love & sad story then The Notebook

The intro reminded me very much of Elfen Lied. A girl who is abused and isolated her entire life, gains one friend. Her name happens to be Lucy...that's as far as I've gotten. lol

Gus...may I recommend 'Seconds' 1964 with Rock Hudson directed by John Frankinheimer...It maybe dated but still packs a wallop...And 'Santa Sangre'

I mean I did say once that I think it's wrong to hold someone against their well, I still stick to that belief but did that person who was in that so called car crashed from what he couldn't be pulled out of, he didn't want to be in that situation, it's the same with Anna.

@therealmadmaxx I mean I know I am not a Martyr lol, by any stretch of the imagination but I did really connect with some of the things the old lady told about a true Martyr, I have been through about 3 occurrences of really worrying things, that are due to a medical condition I have, that can actually if you don't get treatment for, can be fatal eventually, even my grandfather died of the thing I could potentially get, will eventually get.
