Oh I'd love to see them do the 2004 version of "The Phantom of the Opera" by Joel Schumacher. Its a shame he didn't apologize for directing that movie as well. The only saving grace of that film is the music and Patrick Wilson. Everything else is perfect for the MST3k/RiffTrax team to riff. :)

Batman was supposed to be funny when the WB execs TOLD him to be funny. If it were up to Schumacher, he would have actually adapted Batman: Year One for the screen, playing up the dark and brooding atmosphere as seen in Tim Burton's movies. But the guys at Warners wanted a more family-friendly Batman, so Schumacher just rolled with it.

But hey, at least the guy can laugh at himself after receiving so much negative feedback, which should be admired I think. :)
