I got a question for you. What does this city know about luxury? What does a town that’s been to hell and back know about the finer things in life? I’ll tell you, more than most!
You see, its the hottest fires that make the hardest steel, add hard work and conviction. And the know how that runs generations deep in every last one of us. That’s who we are. That’s our story.
Now it’s probably not the one you’ve been reading in the papers. The one being written by folks who have never even been here. and don’t know what we’re capable of. Because when it comes to luxury, it’s as much about where it’s from as who it’s for.
Now we’re from America – but this isn’t New York City. Or the Windy City. Or Sin City. And we’re certainly no one’s Emerald City.
Knew it was Detroit the second the commercial started and I was crying by the time it was over. Loved the commercial and love the City of Detroit. Hope to move back there soon.
@paris000221 wow I did not think of Seattle at all, I thought of the Emerald City from the Wizard of Oz!!! And even if it was referring to Seattle it didn't seem to me that he was dissin Seattle, more like he was comparing Detroit to these other cities. Also if you've ever been to Detroit you have probably noticed that while the state of Michigan is very green and verdent the city of Detroit not so much.
Imported from Detroit is a phrase that Americans desperately needed to hear. Quit buying imports and start investing in your own damn country. Buy American, because we have the best quality cars in the world.
Put it in full HD and you will never see anything mor beautiful in your life!! God, this commercial had me stopped in my tracks, goosebumps and all! I love how it called out all the fakes who want to talk down a city they've never been and doesn't know whats going on it it. I've lived all over the states, and I have never met anyone with as much heart, work ethic, and pasion as a Detroiter. I'm proud of my city! Thanks so much for posting!! STAY BEAUTIFUL DETROIT!
i love the car... don't get me wrong, but if i didn't the commercial makes me want it anyway
