Not the best recording. It sounds a bit shrill on the recording - but i'm sure it was superb live. I love his intensity. He has real talent. He's like a baby Gil Shaham.
What a pleasure to see such talent and focus. Now an music director and performer I am glad to see positive up and comming performers. As I too have performed in master classes, and was reminded not to tap my feet while performing. One little thing like tapping your feet while playing could distract from the beautiful message your sending those whom are listening.
I am a violin teacher, I heard this performing live at David Oistrakh violin competition in Moscow where this boy was the best beyond any question. Though I heard "Spanish Symphony" innumerable times he took my breath away from the first notes.
Suppose he is one of the best among his generation.
