After inserting the coax cable, be sure to grab the little curved plastic "tail" that has a cylindrical end and insert it into the slot its supposed to mate to. That locks the jaws of the stripper. My cylinder is very difficult to insert in/out of its slot, so I plan on returning it. There's no way to use it as is for high volume work, the tail is going to break after too many forced insertion cycles. Looks like poor molding on that cylindrical part (it has a glue seam/ridge).
I have one and the tension loop provides no tension.
