The sample is probably from Minnie Ripperton - Inside My Love, which Jean Jacques Smoothie sampled. There also a version by Trina Broussard which I think Dilla sampled on a version of The Look of Love by J-88, which is subtly different. Almost certainly the Minnie Ripperton version though.
