I don't think employers should be required to provide this for free...I'd rather have the cost of the birth control in the form of vacation days or a monetary bonus each year. Let the guys worry about birth control--condoms cost pennies to them, and they not only provide birth control, but also prevent the spread of STDs. Perfect. it's not always the women's responsibiltiy--men need to step up too! They are half the reason there are so many unwanted pregnancies!

You guys who support this are missing the whole point. The "legal expert" they have with the pony tail is as about as biased as they come. We all have to pay he states. Well we are already all paying more and more. When will it end? Read the book on how STD's among teens is skyrocketing because of this false message of preventing birth. Religion always put the "stupid" in america. Humanity is being a human being. Just let each human live out their short time in history. Let them do what is a choice, that won't personally inflict others and shut the hell up.

I only think this would be good to prevent unintelligent people from having more babies and teaching them to be idiots. Otherwise free birth control programs are going to decrease the use of condoms, increase the spread of disease. Give young women a false sense of security with sex, and cost the government too much money. Young women need Fathers, not birth control. People wouldn't be out fucking strangers if they had a close knit family.

Birth Control is not going to be free. This wasn't scored into the actual costs of the HC bill, as this is forcing a company to do something for some. Why not free blood tests for all? Why not free supplements for all? This will just increase the cost of HC. Ridiculous.

"Free Birth Control" can only be a *GOOD* thing for two reasons: (1) Women will no longer have any EXCUSES for not using it; and (2) Women will no longer have any EXCUSES for not using it!

With TWO DOZEN Birth Control methods ALREADY available to women, removing the "cost" angle out of the equation should once & for all determine whether or not all these child-support hunters are genuinely getting pregnant "By Accident" or if (as is suspected) they're mostly just a bunch "paternity fraudsters."

@GeneralBacklash It won't stop AIDS!! Maybe we should put a cap on paying for aids or STD patients that benefited from the Birth Control Pill, but didn't protect against sexually transmitted disease. When does it end? We can't even afford to pay for the debt that we have.
