I do not want to be convinced but I draw better than you ... you have some errors: the eyes are crooked, the ears are very small, the arms and legs are very thin, the three peaks of sonic must be the same width , the hands are very small, those things that hold the white ribbon of the shoe of Sonic is on the wrong side (must be on the inside) ... And so when I design, I always design first with a pencil and later while the pen if I want ...;)

Your strokes aren't as confident as they should be. Possibly because you're using a permanent marker.

Nontheless, you need practice. You were off to a good start but it progressively went downhill as you went.

you have a point. it is a bit harder to draw using markers as it spreads and therefore is sorta harder to keep lines well curved or following a shape while moving the marker slowly.

Though, I noticed he was drawing slower than someone with experience would have. When I was just a beginner my strokes were very slow, even if I was using a pencil. Now that my brain has learned the proper strokes, they're very quick.

He just needs practice and both his strokes and overall drawings will improve. :3

this sucks man..here's some advice, dont do things too blocky or just straight lines everywhere, most of sonic's body is points circles and round corners, I also maybe suggest trying to use shapes in your drawings, it helps alot once you get used to it.

Your doing great But heres a tip:

When your doing the head draw a circle in pencil a really light circle to where it can erase easily and draw his muzzzle aligned with the bottom of it like a round banana itll make the muzzle come out a little better and help yu get a more suitable starting point
