Our men and women are still in Afghanistan and are still fighting the Taliban and Al Qaeda. I don't care what it is labeled when the same thing is happening. When Americans are fighting and dieing it's war- no mater the convoluted label the current Commander in Chief may put on it.
Yeah, and there is absolutely no reason for them to be there. Trying to stop al-queda with an army is like trying to swat a fly with a chainsaw. 9-11 was planned in a small apartment in Germany, should we invade germany to catch all their crazies too?
You don't have to use an entire army to hunt al-queda. The stuff about Germany doesn't make any sense and I am surprised people still actually try to use that argument.
al-queda is a criminal justice and intelligence problem, not a military one. It is a perfectly valid point. Fighting terrorism with an army is an illogical and doomed plan. There will always be terrorists and occupying countries just makes it easier for them to kill americans. They dont even need to leave their dirt poor powerless countries to shoot at us now. Plus al-queda is in dozens of other countries and could easily plan an attack anywhere two of them can meet.
I dont want any war on terror....and there isnt one anymore thankfully.
