Dude your full of it! Your playing chord inversions to make the guitar sound different in the separate switch positions. Viewers please watch his hands to see that he is not playing the same chord arrangements at each setting. The guitar boasts lots of features but the subtlety of each feature is not truly represented by playing the same notes/chords. I was interested in this guitar but not now!!!

this is one wonderful and advance acoustic electric guitar... lots of tone to choose from... very nice chorus effect / the sound of an acoustic pick-up on live is just beautiful the preamp is loud or i might say high gain already ... i dont have to boost the gain and you will get to the point of satisfaction
In my style of playing, I couldn't see myself using it for anything other than just an acoustic guitar, but I can imagine this is awesome for a blues guitarist.
I find it odd that on the clean electric setting, where the instrument is basically a hollow-body electric guitar, it does not have the hollow body sound, like an full-hollow electric archtop would sound like.
Very good guitar i just got mine today from the mail its the Vintage Violin Color and it looks soo damn good :) loving every bit of it! :) highly recommended :)
I have one of these in red... it's much better than I expected... I play it through my Bose L1... I've been playing for 40 years and it's one of my favs for a few reasons.
well theres people whoo love electric more then acoustic so... if you gotta play a song with acoustic and electric for example wanted dead or alive this might be the guitar in my personal opinion tis guitar is really good and very very unique ill buy it just need the money :P
I really can't find a reason to buy this guitar. I love Ibanez products, but this guitar has a cheap acoustic sound and an horrible distorted sound. I think that it's just a joke for a beginner that wants an economic all in one guitar. Anyway, I love Ibanez.
got my limited edition koa top last week. very well worth the 4 month wait. this thing is incredible acoustic or plugged in. i'll post a vid possibly next week demoing it. i use a crate 15w acoustic amp and even w/ that it sounds incredible
he doesn't show it, but you can create a metal guitar sound (an ozzy or ACDC, slipknot even) through the gain. it is a little hard to tap with the origional pieces it comes with, but if yo have some interchangable parts, you just swhich em around and tap away.
yhea, unplugged is as loud as any normal acoustic. heres a tip: if your buying this guiar, buy a kustom amp (50 watt) for 150. acoustic amps give it the classic look and sound, if you chose to use electric amp, youll get more of an electric sound. I love bands like Dashboard Confessional,Nirvana Unplugged, and some soft emo bands, great guitar for that music, even metal!
Your welcome dude, Im getting one for my b-day, and Im getting a Gibson sg, or les pual at the end of 8th grade! I love music, and art. music and art= life!
you didnt convience me boy

What gauge strings do they recommend? I prefer at least 10s/11s on an acoustic but like 9s on an electric.
