the jeep is sick hope mine gets there some day its a bit better now sense my videos self built a custom front prerunner style bumper made a nice snorkel trimed up the fenders new custom exhaust would be on the road now but needs new front hubs and the pinion gear beerings redone might just get a new front end if i can find one

Did you do anything to the engine to be able to hawl that D60 and 10.5? I know it's a 5.9L but that's a lotta steel for the engine to deal with. I'll be going w/ a HP D44 front and D60 rear cause it'll be a rocker. I get the axles on the 15th.

well i use mine for rockcrawling also.. Remeber that engine and transmission is the same one they use in the Dodge Ram 2500 w/ D60 front and d70 or 80 rear so no problem at all.

Well pretty much through anything specially know I roll that jeep and got me a 98 w/ the 5.9L engine put F350 axles D60 front and 10.50 rear.. still same suspension... Oh and 37 boggers. so it does pretty good.

besides the aluminum housing the 44a is beefier than the iron 44. the 44a has dana 60 sized ring and pinion. build a truss and a skid and you have a much better axle than the iron dana 44.

thats a 9" lift got custom arms from rockkrawling recently change my coils springs got the rustys offroad 8.5 + 2" skyjacker spacer. I recenlty got rid of the 5.2 on the vid got a new one 98 w/ the 5.9L more power hahaha I got a spare 5.9L silver that im selling if interested.

thats badass my bro who is in corpus chriti he joined the military and he has the same exact jeep 9" lift with some other stuff but got rid of that and he found some 42" super swampers on his base and now he is at like 19" to 20" of lift pretty insane. im only 15 and have no clue what all that stuff is. lol. but really like your jeep pretty badass! cant wait till i gte my license go four whellin with my buds!!

Why all the 9-10 lifts for 35's...42's will fit on 9 -10 inches if set up correctly ,and 20 inches of lift is just retarded ...I had 44's on a zj with 10.5 inches and home made long arms ,and I mention that for crowd that will tell me it takes 10 lift for 35's ,and I have no clue ...anyone thinking it takes 10 to run 35' is a NOOB .

D30-35 with drop forged axle it better than D44 in alu

Well the aluminum 44 is not the best housig ,but it still stronger than a d35. Yes you can up graded shafts ,but they would only be noticeably stronger if up graded from 27 spline to 30 ,which costs way more than worth spending on a 35,and still the 35 is weaker than the 44 because it has a TINY ring/pinion which becomes the new weak link with a 30spline alloy upgrade...ring/pinion is not a fun trail fix ...And the d30 is not worth dumping money into either ...42's need 1-tons or better .

well guys I have never ever ever ever break my Rear Dana 44 aluminum the ring and pinion are HD bigger thant the rubicon ring and pinion I upgraded the front D30 put in a D44 rubicon w/ the locker chromoly shafts lockers everything and I have snapt it so many times so right know im going bigger im putting 60 front 14 bolt rear.. to run 37" tires..

Nice ZJ man, i got one and was looking to make an snorkel but couldn't find a filter for the top? What did you use for the top??

And also, did you used the air box that came with the jeep or are you going straight from the engine to the snorkel??

No I went to a junkyard and got and air box from an F-150 99... its a cylinder that works awesome and gives you more space so yo can put an extra battery, Also you can put the K&N Filte wich is bigger than the original. For the tip well you can either get creative and put something like I did or go to Safari snorkels and buy just the tip. I eventually switch my snorkel and bought an original from venezuela. let me see ur snorkel when your done w/ it done
