i changed both door regulator on 1966 mustang, both widows are about 1/4 inch from going all the way up now. any ideas what needs to be done.

for someone who has never done this, and has no idea of the mechanics of it, it would have been nice to see how the components work outside of the door to better understand how to assemble it in the door. The last piece, for instance with the two bolts in back. What does that actually attach to and what does it do? Some closeups would have helped. Still, very cool to see.

How do you do it on a 1998 mustang ? i can get the door panel off but how do you remove the sheet metal ??
