My fiancee has a 2002 saab 9-3 His car overheats and wont start for a long time after he turns it off... He replaced the thermostat and the butt connector .. he put new coolant in there.. it still wont start. Also the heater wont turn on or off on its own we have to put the fuse in and take it out when we're done .. anyone know what this could be ?!
9-3 running at75mph suddenly died. Had to get it towed this week. ughhh wrong shop. got to get it towed again to one that knows what a saab um They did say that they had one in b4 and it turned out to be an electrical problem. So they've been kind of blowing me off.
I found out the problem just to let anyone who may have a same or similar problem. It was the hose that comes off the intercooler that had gotten lose. Simple fix.

@kaylakenny19 the starting problem is probably the crankshaft position sensor, Have you tried to connect it to a service computer ?
