@OldStyleMuay I bought the book a few months back and absolutely LOVED IT! It is a terrific read on the holy souls! I encourage ALL to read it! Yes, they NEED our help! (1 John 1:9) God says He cleanses us from all unrighteousness; you say we have to do work on top of the perfect sacrifice of Christ.
@Spheate Yes, you must cooperate with grace. The Church makes that very clear. You must change your ways, and not sin anymore. You'll remember Jesus said the same thing. "For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy" Hebrews 10:14
@flameboy1236 "...being made holy." There you have it. "Being made" is not an instantaneous act. We must try to look at this within the light of experience, which confirms the Church's teaching. I am a holier person than I was ten years ago. I have much to do in my cooperation with grace, and I was saved ten years ago, but I am closer to being like Christ now than then. @themanhootch Jesus already perfected us up in the cross so there is no need for purgatory. Everything is fully paid, you just have to believe in Him and have a relationship.
@flameboy1236 I believe you are confusing justification and sanctification. Salvation is and has always been two-fold. We are justified by faith, and sanctified by works. Show me your faith without works. If Jesus magically made us perfect as you describe it, why the parables, the teaching? Get to Jerusalem, get up on the cross and stop wasting time. @flameboy1236 We do good works to sanctify us. Justification is by faith. Do you understand the difference between justification and sanctification? Please stop trying to construct strawman arguments. Google the terms.
Thank you Mother Angelica. I've been feeling distant from God for quite a long time but today I feel a bit closer to him by listening to you. I will try to do his Will in every present moment. At least now I feel encouraged to do so.
For any human being to feel so important as to think that in all this vast Universe, there is a Creator who looks at MEEEE and loves MEEEE and wants MEEEE to live eternally in Heaven is the ultimate in ARROGANCE!
To think God needs or even wants our worship makes God a small, shallow and needy person. The idea that we are the only living things destined to live eternally is arrogant and selfish. We are NOTHING, yet YOU insist YOU are wonderful. Be ashamed of your self-importance!
@vinyl45s4ever I think you may not have thought this subject through. This God created this thing you refer to as "ultimate(ly)... arrogant." To be infinitely knowledgeable and to miss noticing our condition, which He created, is laughable. An omnipotent being would not be omnipotent, and therefore would not be God, if He DIDN"T notice, and care, about our plight. That's why He incarnated and gave to us the example of Complete Virtue and Ultimate Humility. That is why we are important to Him.
@themanhootch A ghost who never speaks nor lifts a finger is "feared and respected" by all who blindly believe. Well, that leaves me out. I don't believe in ghosts and I'm not superstitious. Tough, ain't it?
@vinyl45s4ever And of course, your experience, or lack of it, is the touchstone by which we all base our lives. Many people have experienced God directly, and have spoken to and been moved by this thing that ":never...lifts a finger." I suggest you think more deeply on the subject. If you don't, I wish you luck.
@vinyl45s4ever; For any human being to feel so unimportant as to think that in all this vast Universe, there isn't a creator who looks at YOOOUUU is DESPAIR. It's not arrogance but hope. If we are living in a world of your "What Ifs"...I would rather be wrong about HIM being there than not.
great video. I think we go to a place sorta like purgatory - just to cleanse ourselves totally of sin so we can enter the Gates of Heaven. Purgatory and Earth are a lot alike IMO. WIth both, the main goal is to better ourselves and learn from mistakes. This is just my take on it. Please don't take this personal, guys and gals. This is how I see things. I could be wrong though. So don't take my opinion as fact because it's not.
If purgatory, Hell or going to heaven where true, why when Lazaro and the ones Jesus woke from the death never said "I was in the heaven" or"i saw the hell and the fire" ot "i saw the purgatory!"?
@Cachetitos30 Because it was not pertinent to that part of the Gospels. The New testament is a teaching tool meant to get us into a relationship with Christ. There is much to be learned after that, and the Bible is a touchstone to guide us into safe harbor. Purgatory is implied in many parts of the Bible.
@Cachetitos30 Part 3- Think of it this way; souls back then that had lived good lives didn't deserve Hell but they also certainly did not deserve to enter Heaven and so God put them into what we now know as Abraham's Womb, a resting place for all those souls who were awaiting Christ's death. So when Lazaro awoke he couldn't tell anyone what he had seen because he hadn't been to Hell or Purgatory/Heaven, Lazaro had simply been... asleep. I hope my brief explanation has helped you understand.
@Cachetitos30 if the rich man was in hell, he wasn't in purgatory...to be fair the teaching of purgatory is a purging of sins...one in purgatory or in that state of transformation...is one their way to being with the Lord, or according to my understanding of RC teaching...
@synthpathetic We keep on sinning because we choose to. We have free will to do as we please. I suspect this is part of the problem of creation. If God had made us completely free of choice, we could never have sinned. But that would have meant there would be no variables, and I suspect it is the infinitude of variables that makes life itself possible. God chose to make life, and sent us Jesus Christ to show the variables that lead to life, and die for the wrong choices made by humanity.
it is so sad. They say Confession is the forgotten Sacrament beacuse of the ignorance of its importance amoung us (catholics), but Purgatory is just forgotten period. I just said it, thier are Catholics who don't even know about Purgatory.
What specific verses in the bible refer to purgatory? I believe that once you truely accept Jesus that there is nothing you can do to go to hell. That Jesus paid for all sins. And, that if you believe Jesus died for your sins that when you die you go straight to heaven. To me purgatory makes Jesus' death seem kind of pointless.
@X1danno1 I understand your point. The separated brethren belief in salvation is one of Christ's sacrifice covering our sins. It has been termed by some as snow covering a mound of dung. The orthodox belief in salvation is one of transformation of that mound of dung into a reflection of Christ. Purgatory is alluded to by Jesus by saying that if you don't forgive as He forgave you, you'll be handed over to the torturers until the last farthing is paid. Sounds conditional to me: purged of it.
@X1danno1 purgotory is atonement before heaven, all purgotory souls eventualy make it to heaven, its because of jesus they go to purgotory otherwise we'd all go to hell.
I just love watching this lady. She's so kind and genuine. She's so personable, like she is just somebody you could sit down with and shoot the breeze, and leave the conversation a better person.
Jesus said if we pray this prayer 1,000 souls from purgatory are released: "Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen."
@1Peter312 The Bible is not the final arbiter of truth. The Church is, however, the quote is from popular devotion. Many Catholics have had contact with Jesus directly since biblical times. The quote is not dogmatic, but does not go against any orthodox teaching. We pray for all our brothers and sisters, no matter where they are. You don't have to buy into it, as it isn't required for salvation, but don't fault Catholics if we pray.
Like most Protestants, you have a problem with the Word of God. JESUS is the Word. The Bible is the inspired word of God, but Jesus is more than the Bible. The Church was commissioned by The Word, not the Bible. Jesus gave authority to the Church to interpret the Bible. Those who think they have authority to do so, but have not been given authority by Jesus, fall into error of some sort nearly all the time. That's why there are 20,000+ Protestant sects out there, and only one Church.
@themanhootch Wonderful explanation. Thank you!! This is exactly why the church teaches us it is critical for all faithful to be guided by both REASON as well as faith. :)
The Church is the Pillar and Foundation of the Truth. The Church is the protector of holy scripture. She protects it from those who twist it to their own destruction.
Also the Catholic church is one the who assembled the books into a bible by divine inspiration and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It shouldn't be that unreasonable to think that the Church started by Christ, God, would have the authority to do so.
I wish someone would post a clip of the opening theme song and closing theme song of Mother Angelica. I think its so beautiful, its hard not to feel like crying when hearing it.
Purgatory is the state being purified. Those in purgatory suffer as a punishment for their sins. But that are also in peace because they do not have to fear of their salvation because they know that they will exit and be with God in Heaven. The Church asks us that we pray for those suffering in purgatory, so that may that be in Heaven as soon as possible.
@copsANDmobbers --YOU are to Purgatory. And Purgatory also has pain, which is the fire of Gods love burnng all remainder of attachment to sin from your prescious soul.
You have to pay for your sins, you cannot be with god in sin. This is why Purgatory is there. To cleanse you until every stain is washed from your soul. You should do all you can to avoid hell and try to lead a good life. But do not be afraid of Purgatory. It may not be as bad as some would have you believe. And if it is you are still going to have eteran l life with God in paradise so do not fear.
You can suffer here or suffer there. You can face things here, or face them there. It all comes down to walking towards your destination. Those who avoid the difficulties of overcoming the "world" are putting it off for later. Carry your cross here. It's the preferred method.
You'll find out soon enough. In Genesis, it says that Abram's faith was counted to him as righteousness. Start by having faith, and trust in His mercy. Then be as virtuous a person as you can be, which will both make your experience of purgatory a better one, and will be a better witness to others for Christ.
@NewAmericanBible454 there was a book called "Purgatory" which compiled several accounts of people who had either witnessed purgatory from earth by divine revelation or people who had people from purgatory visit them.
There are different levels to hell, Those who are at the bottom level narrowly escape hell and suffer the most, they are on the edge of hell. The top level is not as bad and may even be a place of waiting, which is still hard as we are in another realm as a spirit, and the spirit needs God. I am a Cathlic who needs confession but I won't go I also don't go to mass, I am in fear for my soul but feel trapped. I guess the first thing to do is go back to mass. Please pray for me and my girlfriend
Both Aristotle and St. Thomas Aquinas said that if we know our destination, and can see the path that leads to it, would we not go about the business of walking towards it, or aiming our arrow at the target? Whatever keeps you from walking the path, shed yourself of it. The Church has thought this out thoroughly. Find a good priest and just talk to him about it. Don't worry about confession just yet. Get the ball rolling, so it rolls in the right direction. I'll pray for you and yours.
@Free777Thinker --The best thing you can do is go to Confession. It may be hard, but once the burdened is lifted, it will be joyful. Next begin going back to Mass. Being able to receive Our Lord in the Eucharist is a privilege and a blessing, and He will shower you with His Grace. Spending time before the Lord in the Eucharist is another great way to grow in Grace. Receiving the Sacraments will lead you back. I will be praying for you and your gf.
Purgatory is a place where the elect go when they die to be purged of any remaining attachment to sin; we need this place because nobody dies free from sinfullness.
from St.Gertrude. "Eternal Father, I offer You the the most precious blood of your divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my own family.
I remember first learning about here as I was scanning the shortwave bands and heard it on EWTN network. Mother Angelica has captured my heart from then onwards. I just recently saw an archive of her show on the EWTN website last night and she touched my heart again. You can feel God working through her and it is a blessing knowing that there are still real people among the fake televangelist. I really have been blessed by her, she has such a gentle soul, bless her :)
guasto47: If you die with an unforgiven Mortal Sin, then you will miss purgatory all together and head straight for the furnace. This is the same kind of sin that separates us from God for all eternity and it is not to be confused with a venial sin. We do not know that most people go to purgatory because the bible says that many will go hell. The term "many" does not specify a percentage of the population. It does sound like a lot of people to me.
I dont have a car and relie mostly on other's to take me to confession Im sure if your fixing to die and asks gods forgiveness you will be forgive God deals with unhappy circumstances
God knows i cant aways get to confession so im sure if i ask forgivness i will be forgivn.
I dont understand why priest will not accept a confession over the phone thats not fair to poeple who cant drive
lets pray for mother angelica since she had a stroke ... Heavenly Father your Will is sometimes hard to understand at the present moment, but let us never doubt in your Love, it is all for Your Glory and Blessed Mother Mary I doubt NOT in your Intercession, come Holy Spirit, come Holy Spirit! ....
I used to watch the show at 8pm tue and thurs, before she got ill, what a great inspiration she brought to my life thank you mother you always in my prayers.
I love listening to Mother Angelica. I love things shes has to say and the stories she has to tell. Shes so close to god and everything thats good in the world.
While it is reasonable to strive to avoid purgatory ourselves (and even commendable, since to achieve this we'd need to live a life without sin), we should remember all the souls who are already there and pray for them, so that their expiation is fast, and so that they can go to Heaven as soon as possible, and sing the glory of God.
Purgatory is the cleansing before Heaven. Anyone in Purgatory already is moving towards God, being cleansed by fire. Most assuredly, it is not pleasant to be confronted with our sins by their very nature, which is our struggle against God. But, we suffer far more on Earth than those in Purgatory because we often move away from God and that is tragic. How happy are those who are being purged of their sins and moving towards the Beatific Vision in Heaven?
There is proof of purgatory....read the Bible Jesus talks about how you can't get into heaven until you have payed off everything. There is also so many more but if you are Catholic you should know it yourself. How is purgatory hopeless? If there was no purgatory most people would go to hell....purgatory is just an example of God's mercy where we can get cleansed before entering heaven....purgatory is the opposite of hopeless...
@Hrvatina1990Travnik This is all true, but a great help in avoiding our debt towards Jesus is the devine mercy rosary and the acts of mercy towards the others, if you sinned start a new life with that rosary every day at 3 pm.
Depressing? You would rather go to hell than face the expiation of sins? Purgatory is a great grace. You would not go to a great wedding in your underwear, would you? You know that would be inappropriate! Same with the soul that dies in the state of grace. You KNOW you are not ready to enter heaven. You wouldn't want to! With sin, there is forgiveness, but we still must pay the price for them. Read books written by Dr. Scott Hahn. A former Presbyterian minister, not a devout catholic.
Well, it's quite simple, if you don't believe in Purgatory, then you're not Catholic. It exists. Period. You have to conform your conscience to that of the Church.
purgatory is such a great mercy from God. if there was no purgatory then many people would go to hell. purgatory is simple a purification process. as nothing unclean can get into heaven. and why would you want to go to heaven unclean? we dont deserve to be in the presence of our Lord with so much sin, purgatory cleans us before approaching our Lord.
Actually, purgatory is a good thing. If you are in purgatory, you are bound for heaven. Some need very little purification, some need a lot. Make sure you don't need a lot!
"As soon as you try to please Him [God] in everything and have an unshakable trust [in his goodness and mercy] He purifies you every moment in His love and He lets no sin remain. And then you can be sure that you will not have to go to Purgatory. St Therese of Lisieux
You could become one, sadly We Christians are divided into thousands of denominations, I truly feel that one day All Christians will Unite under The Sacred Heart of Jesus and The Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Mother Angelica is a living saint. I went to EWTN last year ( 2007 ) . i was part of a pilgrimage group. we couldn't meet Mother Angelica. I also made some small videos from that trip.
I absolutely love this little nun. She was very instrumental in my coming into the Church. I'll have to thank her for her faithfulness to Christ when we get to heaven, though I bet the line will be long.
i live close to hanceville and went there it was amazing

@themanhootch "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." Romans 4:5
Our good works don't save us, our faith in Christ does. We do good works because we are already saved, not to go to heaven.
flameboy1236 1 year ago
@flameboy1236 We do good works to sanctify us. Justification is by faith. Do you understand the difference between justification and sanctification? Please stop trying to construct strawman arguments. Google the terms.

Be ashamed of your self-importance!
vinyl45s4ever 1 year ago
@vinyl45s4ever I think you may not have thought this subject through. This God created this thing you refer to as "ultimate(ly)... arrogant." To be infinitely knowledgeable and to miss noticing our condition, which He created, is laughable. An omnipotent being would not be omnipotent, and therefore would not be God, if He DIDN"T notice, and care, about our plight. That's why He incarnated and gave to us the example of Complete Virtue and Ultimate Humility. That is why we are important to Him.
themanhootch 1 year ago 9
@themanhootch A ghost who never speaks nor lifts a finger is "feared and respected" by all who blindly believe. Well, that leaves me out. I don't believe in ghosts and I'm not superstitious. Tough, ain't it?
vinyl45s4ever 1 year ago
@vinyl45s4ever And of course, your experience, or lack of it, is the touchstone by which we all base our lives. Many people have experienced God directly, and have spoken to and been moved by this thing that ":never...lifts a finger." I suggest you think more deeply on the subject. If you don't, I wish you luck.
themanhootch 1 year ago

Ps- Im not Atheist
Cachetitos30 1 year ago 2
@Cachetitos30 Because it was not pertinent to that part of the Gospels. The New testament is a teaching tool meant to get us into a relationship with Christ. There is much to be learned after that, and the Bible is a touchstone to guide us into safe harbor. Purgatory is implied in many parts of the Bible.
themanhootch 1 year ago
@Cachetitos30 Part 3- Think of it this way; souls back then that had lived good lives didn't deserve Hell but they also certainly did not deserve to enter Heaven and so God put them into what we now know as Abraham's Womb, a resting place for all those souls who were awaiting Christ's death. So when Lazaro awoke he couldn't tell anyone what he had seen because he hadn't been to Hell or Purgatory/Heaven, Lazaro had simply been... asleep. I hope my brief explanation has helped you understand.
artvandelay107 1 year ago
@Cachetitos30 Two things, No one knows what he said as it was not recorded in the bible.
and no one went to heaven before Christ went first.
But Jesus told the story of the rich man and the begger, One went to hell and the other to Abraham/Purgatory.
God bless

X1danno1 1 year ago
@X1danno1 I understand your point. The separated brethren belief in salvation is one of Christ's sacrifice covering our sins. It has been termed by some as snow covering a mound of dung. The orthodox belief in salvation is one of transformation of that mound of dung into a reflection of Christ. Purgatory is alluded to by Jesus by saying that if you don't forgive as He forgave you, you'll be handed over to the torturers until the last farthing is paid. Sounds conditional to me: purged of it.
themanhootch 1 year ago 2
@X1danno1 purgotory is atonement before heaven, all purgotory souls eventualy make it to heaven, its because of jesus they go to purgotory otherwise we'd all go to hell.

Amen."

@themanhootch Where in the bible does it say that? If only you knew how erroneous your teaching is!!!! Matthew 12:36 -37
1Peter312 1 year ago
@1Peter312 The Bible is not the final arbiter of truth. The Church is, however, the quote is from popular devotion. Many Catholics have had contact with Jesus directly since biblical times. The quote is not dogmatic, but does not go against any orthodox teaching. We pray for all our brothers and sisters, no matter where they are. You don't have to buy into it, as it isn't required for salvation, but don't fault Catholics if we pray.
themanhootch 1 year ago 2
@1Peter312
What????
Did you just state that the church knows the truth better then the Bible????
Who has errouneous teachings now?
eldante01 1 year ago
Like most Protestants, you have a problem with the Word of God. JESUS is the Word. The Bible is the inspired word of God, but Jesus is more than the Bible. The Church was commissioned by The Word, not the Bible. Jesus gave authority to the Church to interpret the Bible. Those who think they have authority to do so, but have not been given authority by Jesus, fall into error of some sort nearly all the time. That's why there are 20,000+ Protestant sects out there, and only one Church.
themanhootch 1 year ago 62
@themanhootch Wonderful explanation. Thank you!! This is exactly why the church teaches us it is critical for all faithful to be guided by both REASON as well as faith. :)

Also the Catholic church is one the who assembled the books into a bible by divine inspiration and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It shouldn't be that unreasonable to think that the Church started by Christ, God, would have the authority to do so.

Satan is to Hell, God is to Heaven, and what is to Purgatory? And Pain is to hell, Happiness is to heaven what is to purgatory?
copsANDmobbers 1 year ago 4
@copsANDmobbers
Purgatory is the state being purified. Those in purgatory suffer as a punishment for their sins. But that are also in peace because they do not have to fear of their salvation because they know that they will exit and be with God in Heaven. The Church asks us that we pray for those suffering in purgatory, so that may that be in Heaven as soon as possible.
cpcballer246 1 year ago
@copsANDmobbers --YOU are to Purgatory. And Purgatory also has pain, which is the fire of Gods love burnng all remainder of attachment to sin from your prescious soul.

What is the relation of hades to purgatory?
bartytarsIar 1 year ago
@bartytarsIar --Hades might be a generalized term for the afterlife of the dead; Purgatory is for purification of soul.
NewAmericanBible454 1 year ago
You have to pay for your sins, you cannot be with god in sin. This is why Purgatory is there. To cleanse you until every stain is washed from your soul. You should do all you can to avoid hell and try to lead a good life. But do not be afraid of Purgatory. It may not be as bad as some would have you believe. And if it is you are still going to have eteran l life with God in paradise so do not fear.
Free777Thinker 2 years ago
You can suffer here or suffer there. You can face things here, or face them there. It all comes down to walking towards your destination. Those who avoid the difficulties of overcoming the "world" are putting it off for later. Carry your cross here. It's the preferred method.
themanhootch 2 years ago
@themanhootch --I would actually be curoius about what the experience of Purg. would be...
NewAmericanBible454 1 year ago
You'll find out soon enough. In Genesis, it says that Abram's faith was counted to him as righteousness. Start by having faith, and trust in His mercy. Then be as virtuous a person as you can be, which will both make your experience of purgatory a better one, and will be a better witness to others for Christ.
themanhootch 1 year ago
Purgatory is like when you have a foreign object (a splinter, a piece of wood, whatever) removed from a part of the body. You are being purged.
JonWRowe 1 year ago
@NewAmericanBible454 there was a book called "Purgatory" which compiled several accounts of people who had either witnessed purgatory from earth by divine revelation or people who had people from purgatory visit them.
cheesemonkey1990 1 year ago
There are different levels to hell, Those who are at the bottom level narrowly escape hell and suffer the most, they are on the edge of hell. The top level is not as bad and may even be a place of waiting, which is still hard as we are in another realm as a spirit, and the spirit needs God. I am a Cathlic who needs confession but I won't go I also don't go to mass, I am in fear for my soul but feel trapped. I guess the first thing to do is go back to mass. Please pray for me and my girlfriend
Free777Thinker 2 years ago
Both Aristotle and St. Thomas Aquinas said that if we know our destination, and can see the path that leads to it, would we not go about the business of walking towards it, or aiming our arrow at the target? Whatever keeps you from walking the path, shed yourself of it. The Church has thought this out thoroughly. Find a good priest and just talk to him about it. Don't worry about confession just yet. Get the ball rolling, so it rolls in the right direction. I'll pray for you and yours.
themanhootch 2 years ago
@Free777Thinker --The best thing you can do is go to Confession. It may be hard, but once the burdened is lifted, it will be joyful. Next begin going back to Mass. Being able to receive Our Lord in the Eucharist is a privilege and a blessing, and He will shower you with His Grace. Spending time before the Lord in the Eucharist is another great way to grow in Grace. Receiving the Sacraments will lead you back. I will be praying for you and your gf.

guasto47: If you die with an unforgiven Mortal Sin, then you will miss purgatory all together and head straight for the furnace. This is the same kind of sin that separates us from God for all eternity and it is not to be confused with a venial sin. We do not know that most people go to purgatory because the bible says that many will go hell. The term "many" does not specify a percentage of the population. It does sound like a lot of people to me.

How happy are those who are being purged of their sins and moving towards the Beatific Vision in Heaven?
mylittleundergroundx 2 years ago
There is proof of purgatory....read the Bible Jesus talks about how you can't get into heaven until you have payed off everything. There is also so many more but if you are Catholic you should know it yourself. How is purgatory hopeless? If there was no purgatory most people would go to hell....purgatory is just an example of God's mercy where we can get cleansed before entering heaven....purgatory is the opposite of hopeless...
Hrvatina1990Travnik 3 years ago
@Hrvatina1990Travnik This is all true, but a great help in avoiding our debt towards Jesus is the devine mercy rosary and the acts of mercy towards the others, if you sinned start a new life with that rosary every day at 3 pm.
43470anbetsi 7 months ago 3
I'm a Catholic, but the doctrine of purgatory really does not agree with me.
It is absolutely hopeless, and my non - Catholic Christian friends of mine say there is no proof of purgatory.
It is a frightening teaching, for there is no sight of God there, and I find it rather depressing, and sad.
KAMIKAZR 3 years ago
Scott Hahn. A former Presbyterian minister, not a devout catholic.
jazzbass981 3 years ago
Well, it's quite simple, if you don't believe in Purgatory, then you're not Catholic. It exists. Period. You have to conform your conscience to that of the Church.
vikingjr87 3 years ago 2
Does that mean that there're actually proofs of Heaven, Hell, and everything else??
Hmmm...
Gastrolito 2 years ago
purgatory is such a great mercy from God. if there was no purgatory then many people would go to hell. purgatory is simple a purification process. as nothing unclean can get into heaven. and why would you want to go to heaven unclean? we dont deserve to be in the presence of our Lord with so much sin, purgatory cleans us before approaching our Lord.
DevotionToMary 2 years ago 4
Actually, purgatory is a good thing. If you are in purgatory, you are bound for heaven. Some need very little purification, some need a lot. Make sure you don't need a lot!
