They are experienced fighters and they operate in small units using guerrilla warfare. Their tactic is to exhaust the US military until they don't have funds to stay there anymore. Yes we can be ones at fault for is bubbling down to where it's at. It is also right to make sure that these people can live independent. My father was a medic for 5th Group Special Forces for 15 years, retired December 1st 2001.

As a matter of fact in 2010 Linda Norgrove a British aid worker was killed by a member of SEAL Team 6 when he threw a grenade in her direction. The SEAL lied about it and was kicked out of the unit. We are human, we make mistakes no matter how elite a person is. It's them learning from that that makes them good. She was being rescued from her captors but unfortunately was killed instead.

@ihatecountry777: It is a myth that democracy exists in any country. Elections are mostly an empty ceremony. Those who get elected are always owned by the elites. All US Congressmen actually dance to the tunes of lobbyists working for banks, corporations etc. It is the same in every country, including Israel. Most Israelis can coexist with Palestinians. A few extremists like Netanyahu & others want to take over more & more Palestinian lands. The extremists are in control, not the Israeli ppl.

@dethtour you should confirm your facts before telling someone stuff. There is only one US Special Forces, and that is in the US Army. The Navy SEALS and Force Recon are special operations groups... and yes, there is a difference- its not just semantics

@24Rorschach Very true, Recon is just a rich infantry btl. and MARSOC is just an even richer infantry btl. Neither one of them are SF and they rarely if never get the "important" missions compared to regular Infantry. I'm just a little confused thou. Green Beret and SF are the same right? I originally thought they were two separate groups but it seems they are the same thing, right? Or am I wrong.
