Oh yeah, if anybody can help, when I start up Windows 8, the tiles/apps on the start screen wont appear except the first time I turned it on. I am using it on a Intel Pentium Dual core with 2 GB RAM on VmWare Workstation 8. I cant go to anything or the desktop T_T
@Windows7Fan1 Yeah... I mean... this stuff with Windows is cool, but it's still full of old-school technologies, they finally added features that other systems have had for years, and they still don't have some basic features that other systems have had for years.
@Hildron101010 I asked it because most tablets are using 1024x600 resolution, and I'm one of them that's "losing" the metro functionality. Would it be just a simple, boring start button again? :(
hey, you can navigate the Metro screen by swiping up and down on the trackpad! I love the multitouch support! Its seems that windows 8 works better on apple hardware than on some of microsoft's OEM's hardware. smh, those guys need to step it up.
i seen in the final Version of windows 8 as showed in Microsoft's building windows 8 video and the start button will be changed back to the one as seen in windows 7 and it will blend in with the taskbar

@AdamantSystems its the same because if you keep the metro on its like an awesome version of the desktop and then the desktop could be like peoples metro sometimes thing but only as desktop sometimes. this is also good for PC! using a wireless mouse or pen rules with this, same with touch. mouse rules with this because other theb the lock screen its good and PC friendly, but it also works with tablets even more then win7.
@robloxlover55 Well I really can't tell you until you clarify a bit more. When you say you have 1.75 GB unusable, does that really mean you only have a quarter-gig of RAM?
