@blamethecampers It's a really well done film. It's a little similar to 2001: Space Odessey, and the whole GERTY thing is a complete copycat of HAL, but other than that, I thought the film was totally original. Sam Rockwell was fucking amazing in it.

My most favorite movie I've seen to this point. Period. There's all kinds of hints through the movie that point to the ending that you might catch a second time through. Most famously I'd think is the part where Sammy is in the metal hospital and a doctor walks in front of the camera and then Leonard is in the chair for a split second. I didn't notice this till some one told me about it but there are other hints as well. Great film.

best movie...captures ur attention totally. Picture runs 1-22 (b/w parts) and A-V (colour scenes) so the scenes run as 1,v,2,u,3,t,4,s....22,a... BUT for those interested, you can also find copies of the movie in Chronological Order...1,2,3...22,a,b,c...v It was a easter egg on the limited edition dvd but copies are around floating....

Phil, that was a really bad review. Yes it's an amazing movie, but you went into no detail of it or talked about the many meanings or symbolize that you could take away from it. Because when I go to a review I'm looking for a conversation of the material not a recommendation. I'm just saying if your going to review any movie, put some thought into how you go about it rather than just saying that it was awesome or amazing.

I'm a movie fanatic, so I've seen lots of films from foreign to blockbusters to indies and I didn't really like this when I saw it. It was ok at best but I've seen better mind-benders. Someone down there said watch Oldboy. YES. You have to watch some more Korean films. They're crazy. In fact I recommend watching the whole revenge trilogy. Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy, and Sympathy for Lady Vengeance.

I loved memento during my psych class.... I loved it. It doesn't just go backwards, it kind of has two storylines, same plot but at different times. One goes forward, one goes backwards, and you end up in the middle.
