it would seem as though you're saying you would not judge a woman who chooses to abort but that you personally are against the practice of abortion, that's of course my assumption.
My concern however is about the law, I myself would not support a decision to abort, absent life threatening illness or injury, beyond the first trimester, this would stop legal SELECTIVE abortions, i.e. aborting girls.
I just think that is a sensible compromise between Respecting choice & Respecting life.
At the end of the day you are right there does need to be LAWS on this subject. We are but humans. Just because abortion is Illeagal in some nations, it does not stop them taking place and there you have backstreet abortions with both mother and child dying.
I pray you get the best laws in your land that you can for all concerned and I would agree that banning abortion is not the answer.
Killing one's own child for the sake of convenience is cold ... very cold.
