I am absolutely stunned that my search for this show actually found it... Michael Blinderman was my acting teacher when I was a teenager in NY back in the 80's, and as his student, I got to appear on his show a few times. He was an excellent teacher and I miss him, his show, and those days very very much.

Legend has it that Pete and Dave played by
Peter Austin Noto and David Giardina had a
difference of opinion on the direction of
Pete and Dave and broke up just before appearing
on Acting Out with Michael Blinderman.
They have yet to work or speak since but wish each
other the best
The possibility of both doing the sequel still remains....
