I have to agree with the guy.. that is insane.. that is one fine fish.. I have caught a couple of real nice bass but got damn.. that is just beatiful...
Nice fish. I caught one many years ago 8 1/2 lbs., on my very first cast! I was at a tiny little duck pond in a public park in North Charleston, S.C., late at night in mid-December. I got her on an ultralight spinning rig/little black aglia spinner...imagine my shock and delight!! I was only 19 at the time; had NEVER caught a bass anywhere near that size! Had her mounted...
im from the area and ive caught a couple almost that big, so i dont agree with the once in a lifetime thing. needs to be >8 to put on the wall. you'd sh*t if you saw the public "puddles" ive pulled em from. regardless nice fish, 3 oz better than my best.
spring lake does have some pigs dont she? im from the area and dont agree with the 7-8 lb once in a lifetime thing. ive caught em that big in puddles such as Eureka. we surely need to go fishin man!
thats insane, doesnt look like its been spawning but if it has, not for lobng by the look of her stomach, but thats the shortest seven pounder ive ever seen, very nice, haha that crazy
Most Central Illinois bass top out at 3-4 pounds, 5 pounders are very rare, 7-8 pounders are once in a lifetime in this area (that's comparable to a 15 pounder in TX, CA or FL).
Spinnerbait you are welcome to come to Mexico and take time for a 15 pounder, beleive me. I may upload mine today. I have a 9 punders on Lake Sugar on this site and a 15 pounder for a friend. I can recommend nice lodges in my favorites lakes
