  • grr youtube is for videos...

  • How much in the market? Hope not cost me 1 arm and 2 legs? kkk

  • @CharlieDoan I think the 452 american has been discontinued. 455 is the replacement. They are around $3-400

  • Hi buffalobills91. You need to use the Millett standard TP rings. Part numbers are MILL-TP00701 for 1" Low, MILL-TP00702 for 1" Medium, MILL-TP00705 for 1" High or MILL-TP00708 for 30mm Medium. We have all but the 1" Low in stock. Please order through your local dealer.

  • Hi, As the UK CZ distributor we have seen the Lux and Standard versions lose popularity gradually since the clean barrelled rifles have become available. I think this is the first time I've heard anyone want a .17 HMR with iron sights. At the range the .17 HMR can go out to, using iron sights would be a serious challenge! Our biggest sellers in this caliber is in the Varmint models with 16" barrel. The new thumbholes are the hot items at the moment.

  • @Kestral65 hey ----if you are a distributor maybe you can help me----where the heck can I get some scope mounts for my 452 American? I don't see them anywhere--- not even on the CZ USA website-- it says that the mounts they sell are not for the "452 American" model.

  • @buffalobills91 ---- answered my own question. they are standard 3/8 dovetail ---all you euro people have 11mm... the American is for Americans so its standard 3/8 inch and I can get cheapo rings anywhere ----thanks anyway

  • What pisses me off is (at least on website) the 452 Lux does not come in .17hmr. Requirements for a proper rifle is iron sights! I do not see why anyone would't have iron sights, it's foolish and cheap. The 452 FS has .17hmr & iron sights, why not Lux? I like FS but I am leaning towards the Lux. A 452 Lux in .17hmr/walnut would be perfect. Maybe I'll look at another brand for .17hmr like Savage. I own a .22 already and want something more 'pro' but fun and affordable.

  • @devldawg123

My major is Electrical engineering, but I like talking philosophy courses as electives,... because they are easy :D

I agree with you, yet its just very frustrating to have a fail to feed :(

    Safe and fun shooting!

  • @devldawg123

Yupp. I got a lux too, lefty tho. Mainly because of the iron sights. Although I mostly use a scope, and had to take the rear sight off.

Does yours ever fail to feed, where the round gets stuck into the upper part of the chamber? It happens to me like once every 500-1000 or so rounds. Thats the only issue I've ever had. Is it wrong to expect perfection? Still really happy with it.

  • this isn't a carabina...........

  • Je me suis endormi avant la fin.

  • beautifull rifle

  • cuanto costaria una para españa?con mita porque si no no estoy acostumbrado.`por lo de la caza ,

  • It is from Czech Republic.

  • anyone know where i can get a new stock or trigger gaurd for a cz 452 american because mine cracked

  • my next rifle is going to be a cz 452 and i dont know wether to get the american, vermint or lux

  • do u even know where CZ is produced??? the american is just a few small changes. i have a cz std thats from 1992. shoot tens of thousands shots with it. at 100 meters i group all within 0.6 cm with cci bullets.. and its NOT american.

  • @danielpy85 The "American" is a style of cz452 with no iron sights and a different shape stock. It also has a different receiver screw configuration. By the way, CZ-USA is in Kansas City...

  • ...

  • If you are definitely getting a scope, and never plan to use the iron sights, get the American because the straight comb on the stock raises your head a higher when aiming, which is ideally suited for use with a scope. The LUX's sloped rear stock might mean that using a scope is a little more uncomfortable than the sights alone, but I have the LUX with a scope and I haven't noticed anything unusual. But if possible, get the FS, it just looks so beautiful, but it doesn't come in L-H : (
