  • It's a good interpretation of a legendary song.. i liked this cover a lot. Great vocals and guitars, decent harmonies and awesome performance.

It's weird to see how badly some people need to discuss politics everywhere. C'mon, its a musical cover video, not a political video for god's sake. Politics is just a part of life, and songs arise out of LIFE. Why do we make music at all? Because we love LIFE. These guys have done a decent cover, enjoy this. Please don't mess it up. Peace.

  • The words are an excellent allegory of our predicament in Afghanistan!

  • Good point wolfgangpmay & what about our past predicaments during the Revolutionary War, The Civil War & WWl, WWll & Korea?

  • The same could be said for those. Perhaps excluding the civil war and WWII.

  • governator45 so the Revolutionary War, WWl & The Korean War were not worth fighting according to you?

  • I don't believe I ever said that. Our role in WWI was very limited. The Korean war was much like the Vietnam War, the U.S. didn't quite understand it. The revolutionary war was actually more like the Vietnam and Korean Wars, except the North Vietnamese and Koreans would have been the "Americans."

  • governator45 the Korean War was not like Vietnam. It only lasted 3 years, the United States, UN Forces & the South Korean Army saved South Korea from North Korea. The U.S. didn't understand it? What are you talking about? The Revolutionary War like Vietnam & the Korean war? What are they teaching you in school nowadays?

  • What were they teaching you back then?! The U.S. viewed the world as East and West (communism and Democracy) during the Cold War. They lumped nations together that were communist and viewed then through the same lens, if you will. In Korea's case, the U.S. thought Moscow or Beijing was directly controlling North Korea. In reality, neither Stalin or Mao wanted anything to do with Kim Il-Sung. The Truman administration could not understand that and chose the USSR and the rational actor.

  • governator45 yes I would agree that was the way the U.S. viewed the world. As far as Korea, it was the Chinese Army that saved North Korea from total defeat.

  • True, I should have put some time limits on that explanation. Originally the Chinese did not like the idea of helping North Korea, but of course, later helped them.

  • good arrangement.

  • that's great stuff! Love it.
