The sentiment is bland and the video is executed atrociously, as indeed the person who made it should be. It also entirely overlooks the fact that Ian Botham's 1981 match turning century at Headingley - and one of England's greatest sporting moments- was made with an absolute rager of a hangover, brought about from excessive drinking the night before. He may have got his head down for an hour, but he was basically still pissed.

Not only is alcohol fun, it can also improve performance.

He scored a great century at Brisbane in 1986 and I was in the same hotel as him at the time. He was a model pro and never even showed in the bar until the match was over and even then i only saw him drink a couple of very small beers.

I actually saw this vid for jimmy but da issue ov drinkin' awareness is very close to my heart. We made this film with Jimmy Anderson as a fun way to encourage people to think about their drinking and the effects it can have, going to the toilet being only one of them!

We not here to preach, or to tell people to stop drinking, we just want to give people the facts around alcohol and let them make an informed choice about how they drink.
