  • Nice video! Check out mine to "Set Fire to the Rain" by Adele. I use some of the same clips, but it's faster. :D Good job!

  • nice editing, good song selection

  • This girl needs like BADASS music!

  • ...she looks like a female Johnny Depp

  • i love it!

  • Only girl that turns me on when she smokes a cig.

  • Lisbeth is the ultimate Tomboy. She is as real as Sherlock Holmes or Captian Nemo. She has taken that which Mary Woolstonecraft wanted. Equal among men.

  • I was almost diagnosed with Asperger - until I told, that I was severely sexual abused during childhood. The doctor asked me about "compulsive daily routines" or hobbies such as collecting things in a very obsessive way. I don't do those things, but I know about what people intend to do quite intuitive.

People with Asperger are not able to read body language and facial expressions. Stieg Larsson should have researched in that field. Lisbeth would't have been diagnosed with that in real life.

  • tyzet4ever; Because I read the book.

  • if everybody would have salander's determination, this world would be a better place.

  • Having created such a unique girl Larsson left the world. She is a remarkable person and one of us, more than a legend, the soul of repressed individuality and intelligence.

  • I love the song

  • Mää tykkään Lisbethistä :D Tosi hyvä näyttelijä, ja hahmo on hyvin luotu

  • Great clips, but as for the music, I dont think the Swedish are really into yodelling.

  • Mon amie!!! Ich lass mir einen goßen Leinwanddruck machen und dann kommt sie in mein neues Schlafzimmer!!!

  • I strongly identify with Lisbeth Salander, and I am a (masculine) Gay bloke! Why? Because she does things her own way, is an outsider from "normal" society AND she has Asperger's Syndrome.

  • @eibon81

How do you know thatr she has Asperger?

  • meine große Liebe, mein Vorbild, meine Inspiration für alles was ich tue.

  • thank you STIEG LARSON.

  • Lisbeth is probably my favorite female fictional character of all time. Noomi Rapace did amazing, & I almost ppassed out when I saw that she was in Sherlock Holmes 2. She will always be Lisbeth. I'm sure Rooney Mara will do a good job though

  • im from india, we have hindu names here... but if i ever have a daughter i'll name her LISBETH.

  • Lisbeth is def an Exploited fan

  • i am a girl,i am straight, i have a boyfriend and i am so fucking in love with her!

  • @BeeeIllaaaa

I feel the same way! I would have absolutely no problem jumping in the sack with her anyday!!

  • A computer hacking, kick-ass, mysterious, beautiful, emo chick who has an awesome name, doesn't talk much and would be up for a 3some :D

  • i saw that the fourth book - 'god's revenge' - is on issuu.com already

  • i love how we praise people like lisbeth in literature and media, but we oppose them in reality on a day to day basis. i think she teaches us that our lives are surrounded by hateful and dangerous people, and sometimes just being yourself isn't enough. you have to show your enemy that you are something stronger, that you have the will to defend yourself.

  • @Crymsin1337 unless your enemy IS stronger than you.

  • @Crymsin1337 you've got that right. i am really a good girl at heart. i always got overlooked and casted aside for being 'weak". i have always been similar to lisbeth. people preach about being good and yourself when in fact they just confor. bad people (narcissists, sluts etc.) get everything and everyone. Good people finish last when people grow up to appreciate us or they have all gotten enough for themselves, its left for us.

  • i love this movie and this character she is so smart beautiful unusual !! and noomi plays grate

  • These are the greatest movies I have ever seen, they're amazing, Noomi Rapace is perfect for playing lisbeth Salander. This is much better than any american movie, where the bad guy has to explain to you his evil plan, and everything has to be said, and American's are so modest too. This European (Swedish) Movie is better than any american one, it's not afraid to show anything, it's an incredible film. I recommend it to ANYONE who has good taste in films.

  • She is the sexiest creature alive, but please, use a different song. :|

  • @MavericRadical I couldn't agree more.

  • @MavericRadical Couldn't disagree more. There isn't one small part of me that admires Salander because I want to fuck her, and that *you* don't like the music just makes it all the more fitting.

    Drive safely, now.

  • she is my star

  • leggera rapida fulminea appropriata magra

  • Lisbeth is my absolute favorite fictional character! I love her! Noomi Rapace did a fantastic job!

  • Grandissima, meravigliosa Lisbeth.

Grazie per avercela donata, signor Larsson :)

  • Salander is the coolest fremale character ever!

  • Salander es lo máximo!!!!!!

  • Gift dig med mig Lisbeth!!

  • LISBETH SALANDER !! 4 ever ! i love this character !

  • Lisbeth Salander is the milk (Spanish expression, hahahaha)

  • salander is fascinating, a victim, yet a killer, loved, but not a lover, perhaps a psychotic, but maybe the sanest of all, originally shown as being almost bereft of intelligence, and then perhaps the most intelligent. She eats junk food, smokes cigarettes, is a natural genius on computers, and generally hates men, (with good reason) but does love sex. And she loves motorcsycles. And fire. So it is just natural that all of us men will love her..

  • Alanise Morissette - UNINVITED

  • I've got into the Millennium film series recently. I think Noomi's Lisbeth is one of the best characters and actor performances in film history!

    Thanks for sharing.

  • ach, ziemlich gelangweilt wer möchte mit mir schreiben hab auch bilder von mir

  • I love Lisbeth Salander!! one of my favorite characters eveeeeeeer!

  • wow, music is so beautiful.. and the clip as well :)

  • can you please upload this movie

  • what character! Lisbeth is so clever and Noomi embodies perfectly the role

My Idol ! I'm a woman but I know if I were a boy I'd rather be with a woman like she xD

  • Hon är min granne, men hon ska skilja sig nu så hon kommer tyvärr att flytta. She is my neighboor here in Stockholm but she is getting divorced so they are going to sell the apartment :( Too bad. It would have been cool to live next to a hollywood star.. haha

  • @swedishfootballfan Hörde att hennes man slog henne och snorta koks

  • Fascinating woman.

  • love this Character so much!thanks!

  • Unleash the chain smoking, man hating, taser totting lesbo.

  • @ciberwarrior she doesn't hate men. she hates men who hate women.

  • Minha personagem preferida! A Melhor!

  • I'm totally in love with this girl..

  • Burn It Down Alter Bridge Composição: Mark Tremonti Drank so much last night I think that I drowned But now my cup is empty No one has seen my will around Now my heart is aching Sometimes I fall asleep for days But my bed is empty I know I'm too set in my ways Tell 'em all I'm okay So burn it down Discover the dusk of your day... This song was made for Lisbeth!
  • i love Salander

  • Love love love! Lisbeth is incredible and so are the movies! I will start to vid Millenium myself.

  • Sickest fucking movie ever made. Saw it twice in one week, loved it both times.

  • I admit: I have a crush on that girl^^

  • Im New to you tube thats why ive got two entrys. (Didnt think the 1st went through...sorry)

  • Lisbeth Lives Forever. As long as Noomi lives Lisbeth lives. Hollywood will never be able to recreate the European feel that it must to bring Lisbeth Salander to life. The feel of the books and the movies come from Stieg Larsoon through Noomi Rapace. There has never been an American author who made 30K the year he died that could have written these books.

  • Lisbeth lives (as long as Noomi Rapace does). Hollywood will never be able to recreate the European influences/feel of this or any of Stieg Larsoons imagination. Lisbeth is the coolest, strongest yet vulnerable female character I can ever remember reading/seeing. Ive read online some people in the US try to compare Lisbeth to Sara Palin. This is the most revolting idea ive heard in a while. Salander would HATE Palin.

  • Manchmal wünschte ich, es würde sie wirklich geben! Damit all dise Schweine auf der Welt ihre gerechte Strafe kriegen!

  • beautiful vid...great Lisbeth!

  • I never been so attracted to 3 books before....

  • omg I love her face O.O <3

    great video!

  • Mi heroina

  • i want her's poster....anyone knows where can i buy it????coudnt found it itn web in spain...thanks..

    can u anwer on pefelipeli@yahoo.com

    felipe

  • Oh maaaan.... this is... Godly... how you have matched alanis wtih Lisbeth... Pls... I wanna get to know you?

  • great video ... it describes the soul of this character! thanks

  • Love this--it has only one flaw--it's too short! About 6 hours longer and it would be perfect.

Nobody else better try to play Lisbeth. This gal was a tad tall (in the books Lisbeth is only 5 feet tall) but her face and attitude are perfect.

  • ok thanks ^^

  • omg what´s the name of this beautiful song?

oder auch deutsch.. wie heißt das schöne lied??

but if you still don´t understand me so here in spanish ..^^

como se llama la cancion? dime porfis xD

  • @Nukakadios The song is "Uninvited",by Alanis Morrisette.

  • Noomi cannot be replace ..... ever! She IS Lisbeth and will always be Lisbeth! America can stick it. (i'm american. hee hee)

  • I just read Kristen Stewart is being considered for the role of Lisbeth. No one will be a better Lisbeth than Noomi. No one.

  • @JaneFaire I agree that Lisbeth CANNOT be played properly by any1 but Noomi... As for Kristen Stewart... WTF?!?!??! She's not even a good actor! And i just cannot remotely imagine a rape scene with Kristen Stewart or any of that crazy shit that happened in the swedish version...

  • Just read that Daniel Craig is going to play Mikael Blomkvist. Don't you think he's too muscular for Mikael's role. Mikael Blomkvist was a resourceful character but not a physically strong one, remember the scene where the kidnappers floored him with one elbow. That doesn't sound like Daniel Craig. The Mikael Blomkvist character has to display some physical weakness in my view

  • Loved your vid tribute!

  • love lisbeth but music suck.

  • @EgdarAllanPoe: Why? This song is perfect for her. You would have to have read the book to realise that though since we obviously can't read her mind in the movie. ;)

  • @mieroth

..ya maybe the lyrics fit .. but seems kind of cheesy when you see that tough grrl you know ;) i think something of Bikini Kill, L7 or Johnette Napolitano would have been more appropriate ;) but forget about that.. its only my opinion.

  • @EgdarAllanPoe: Really? To me Alanis Morissette has always been tough as well as her music. :/ I checked out Bikini kill and to me that sounds like teenage rebel music - nothing I would call "tough." o.O So yeah, difference of opinion no doubt... Oh well. :D

  • She makes me want a troubled goth chick.

  • THX a lot !!!! Regards Anna

  • finaly got to see the film..it was just as good as the book.!!!! Noomi rapace is amazing as salander.

  • kalle fucking blomkvist, this is how salander refers to her maybe one and true friend, and i can honestly say, halfway through the third book, salander is still an enigma. But the books just continually gather momentum, and the story becomes far more complex. Stieg Larsson has truly put out a masterpiece, and the swedish movies have captured it. Nommi Rapace is dynamite

  • Just finished the first book and have started the 2nd...just a question. I just read the part where Lisbeth has sex with a 16 year old boy. She is 25 or 26. Why is there no backlash for that? We have TV shows about catching predators, men who try to have sex with minors. Yet you get a likeable character in a book and all of a sudden the idea of an adult having sex with a minor is no biggie. Kind of hypocritical?

  • @jasonjmj: Age of consent in Sweden is 15. So he's not considered a minor here and no one would think twice about it (except perhaps an eyebrow raise at the age difference). :/

  • How very European! America is so different...If any adult has sexual relations with anyone under 18, you are considered a sexual predator and villafied. That is quite interesting to know. I am getting the impression that Mr. Larson is VERY liberal in his views of sex. The first part of book 2 has been not much more than a pornographic read.

  • @jasonjmj: Well, that's because the age of consent in most of the US is 18. Whilst in Sweden it's 15. So this would be like Lisbeth having sex with an 18 year old in a US version of the novel - some Americans might disapprove of the age difference but not actually having sex with an 18 year old.

  • @mieroth

Alot of guys might be flocking to Sweden if they knew that!! (not me, that doesn't interest me)It is so frowned upon here even saying that makes me feel creepy. The rest of the sex stuff in the book is not that shocking, but the fact that everyone is sleeping with everyone is quite alot to digest.

  • @jasonjmj: That's hardly unique to Sweden. Check out this age of consent map:

    en(dot)wikipedia(dot)org/wiki/File:Age_of_Consent(dot)png

I think the most unusual sexual aspect of this story (from a Swedish viewpoint) is the open relationship Erika has (being married and sleeping with Mikael still). That's quite unusual even in Sweden. :)

  • @mieroth

See, that is not as shocking or unusual from an American point of view. We are much more sensative to the age issue, while the notion of swingers or open relationships even with married people, while frowned upon somewhat, is still not as bad as the underage thing. Although it is considered cheating. Why get married if you arent' fullfilled completely by your partner?!?!

  • @jasonjmj: But he's not considered underage here. Having sex with underage people (younger than 15) is far more shocking and unusual than swinging in Sweden as well. 0.0 And I have nothing against open relationships really (and if everyone is in on it I don't consider it cheating) but it's definitely still an eyebrow raiser. I can't really think of any other lead in a Swedish book who's in such a relationship. :/

  • support me on this ---- noomie repace was so great al salander in these movies, that she defined the character, and we should insist that she play salander in the american version. Goddammit, these books are hot fire!

  • Nice! I love Lisbeth!

  • Lisbeth is so cool. Actually, i have always had the opinion that the name "Wasp" fits her pretty well. Step on her, and she's gonna sting you so it F*cking hurts. Just like a wasp. I swear to God, i laughed so hard when she taught that disgusting Bjurman why you don't mess with Lisbeth Salander. He did TOTALLY deserve it.

  • I adore this book and the character of Lisbeth. If Hollywood fucks up the adaptation, I'm going to fucking kill every bastard who's involved in it.

...except Daniel Craig. Because he's hot.

  • I'm with you on this..

    E.

  • I'm with you on this (including the Craig part...)

  • @Mojito133

LOL! Noomi Rapace OWNS Lisbeth Salander and the films. She refused to play the role again,so the film is fucked already. No one can equal or top her performance. So everyone involved with the remake is the walking dead. :-D Several million Lisbeth Salander fans will provide the weapon(s) of your choice-mace,taser,golf club, nail gun-and bail you ought when you're arrested for murder.

  • @acotw67 Probably. But there are a whole lot of folks who haven't read the books or seen the original movies. We really should give them the chance to fall in love with her too.

  • @triplettam

That was a tongue in cheek response to Mojito's plan to kill everyone involved with the production of the American remake if they screw it up. Seriously,no one can match Noomi Rapace's performances as Lisbeth Salander. I doubt the remake will be great. You're right that it might reach a new audience. Not many readers/viewers are indifferent to "Sally";it's love or hate.

  • Hi!!! I loved you video! It was a great editing and very intense.

I love Alanis as well... hahaah

I gotta say that my favourite bit in the video your the "you are not alone" when she opens the door to Blomkvist.

I've done a Salander and Blomkvist, if you have a chance to watch. it's the latest of my videos... I hope you enjoy.

    Have you read the books?

  • I just saw the movie today. OMG...The actress Noomi did a incrdible job of playing Lisbeth! She plays the complex character perfectly and she is a stunner!

  • Lisbeth is awesome! Those swedish-norwegian-german co-productions are always well done. Let's hope they'll do some more.

  • gran bel personaggio a tutto tondo

  • She´s lovely !

  • if they make a hollywood remake, its going to be a huge fail! i wont even see it... go Lisbeth!!!

  • Salander(L)

  • If you haven't already seen it yet , you can watch it where I did: [ hd-movieDnet ](change D to a dot)

  • Lisbeth Salander is one of the most interesting and intelligent Characters that have ever been in a book or a movie etc. I JUST LOVE HER!!!! <333 And Noomi plays her absolutely great, no one could do it better :D

  • i love Salander!

  • Is the film named "the girl with the dragon tatoo"? Stieg Larsson named the first book "Men who hates women" or like we say in Sweden; Män som hatar kvinnor. Oh, I just love Noomi Rapace as Lisbeth Salander :) <3

  • Noomi was insanely good but Hollywood are getting their chops on this trilogy and who do you think could pull off the Salander character?? Ellen Page?

  • @MrAK36 no, not hollywood.... that's really bad. :'(

  • I thought about Ellen Paige too. Maybe Natalie Portman or Keira Knightly??? They are both dark haired, flat chested.

  • this song is univinted, alanis morissette.

  • I cant stop watching this over and over again. 0:17-0:22 is heartbreaking :(

  • what was the name of the song?

    thanks in advance

  • @alvasmen Read the description.

  • Omg, seriously. I love Lisbeth so much. My stomach hurts when I watch this. Especially the clips where she lights a cigarette. It does something to me, apparently. Noomi Rapace <3

  • Is movies name girl with the dragon tattoo in english? :--------D lol. Men who hates women, would be it.

  • Damn i love Noomi rapace <33
