@seanpull It's competitive just like Baseball or Football. I'm sure you've seen some of your friends challenge each other to a video game. It's the same thing here only more people and at an actual event. When you have Hot Pockets, Dr Pepper, and others sponsor your competitions it's a big deal. Especially with 20 thousand dollars on the line for first place. It's not as easy as most people think. Placing in the top 8 is a tough thing to do and staying there is even tougher.

Very true, they are similar in what they have to do, they have to practice alot to stay on top of their game.

But one thing in the Pro Gaming Life that gives it the higher edge. Is that when playing on Xbox 360 alot like Str8 and tD and other ProTeams they arent gonna be in a good physical conditions so they have to live by a good fitness regime. Like 3 hours of excercise every day, like Str8 does, thats extra to the general 12 hours of game play practice. So thats 15 horus a day.

Why would she be pissed? I know most parents would prefer their child going to college, and getting their education, some degrees, perhaps BA, BS, and even a PhD. But I'm a parent myself, and if you ask me, I wouldn't mind my kids playing MLG for a living. Sure enough, I don't think it'll last them a life time, they'll have to move on eventually. But for now, as a parent, the thing you see in your child's eyes are dedication and happiness. They're happy with what they do, and make a good salary.
