  • you have the exact same specs i got.

  • what is the fps you get?

  • In this video I averaged 40-50 fps, on my new Phenom II x4 955 build with the same GPU (OC'ed) I now get about 60-70.

  • Nice thx 5*5 and sup to you :D

  • Ah im uploading a video of grid on my video card (same one) demotion derby race check my channel like in a hour of posting this

  • damn i got one of these cards to day.. had to raise the fan to max.. got it down from 80 to 60.. still hot for idel.. and tips u got for keepin it cool.. wait.. u got single slot right?

  • Yeah I do have the single slot, my card is the PV-T98G-YDLH model. To keep it cool I mounted an intake fan at the front of my case to bring in air as I mentioned earlier. Just make sure your case has good airflow.

  • ah yea it does... you should make a gta iv video.. for some reason gta iv sucks on this thing... although i can play burnout paradise maxed out with enbseries.. and TDU maxed... gta iv was just a really bad port.. for now.. ill sub :)

  • @grandtheftauto1233 Two completely different games dont forget. Also, the 9800GT isn't all that powerful.

  • @Slowshyy got a GTX 275 now...

  • @grandtheftauto1233 Heavily overclocked GTX 260 myself.

  • do you play this game with a controler? if so what one? Thank you 5/5

  • I've never played with a controller, believe or not i used the keyboard arrows. it sucks but i got used to it. i've asked some online players what they use, most said they use the xbox 360 wireless controller but i've heard that logitech makes one thats better. hope this helps, thanks for watching my video.

  • wtf lol. im horrible with the keyboard...i thought u were using controller. 360 controller works good for this game...tho I configure it like gran turismo. i had no success drifting with my g25 ....i think you need spaz-like reflexes to use a wheel to drift in this game. props on the vid...i was never good on this track, I was always tempted to go too fast.

  • o my god!

i have the one with 1 gb ddr3 memory, and it get's only 80 C max and 58 idle!

what i've done is: put a fan right in front of it!

    it will cool it down!

everything above 80 C is dangerous, because plastic mobo components can melt!!!!!

    great video aniway :P

  • Ha I put one too, the fan is a 92mm mounted at the front of the case hitting directly at it the card, my temps definitely got lower.

  • How hot does your card run on idle? I have the same card as you and mine runs around 73-76 C idle, and gets about the same as yours on load.

  • My card temp sits significantly lower then yours at 54c, and usually around 81c when under load. 97c is just the highest temp i've ever reached but it is rare. You should get some better cooling in your case because that idle temp seems dangerous.

  • o-o im thinking about rnning two of these wats ur pixels?

  • My resolution is maxed out at 1680x1050 running on a 22" display.

  • frames?

  • I usually get about 40-50 fps during actual gameplay.

With Fraps the fps drops to about below 30 fps, which is why I recorded the replay instead.

  • ur cpu bottlenecks the gpu, i have the same cpu and it bottlenecks my gpu, so you can get more fps,

  • i bet your right, thanks for letting me know. i was planning on upgrading my cpu to the athlon x2 6400+ but i figured my cheap dell 531 mobo (asus m2n61-ax) won't handle it due to heating issues.

now i'm planning on upgrading the mobo to the xfx 8200 and running hybrid-sli with this xfx 9800 gt. also thinking about an amd phenom or something, haven't made up my mind yet.

  • THIS IS INTENSE MAN!!!
