  • DISSENT IS THE HIGHEST FORM OF PATRIOTISM!!

    THOMAS JEFFERSON

  • you guys have Ron Paul what the hell is that granola eater talking about??? :21 wake up please...both party's are owned by the elite. They win who ever you vote for. break the paradigm. Democracy is not good. You want a Republic. read the constitution

  • Yeah! So glad we elected Obama. Cuz he has done sooo much great stuff so far. Yeah. Big Change around here.

  • So basically the woman is saying she is voting for Obama because he is black. Ya, lets not vote for the best candidate but vote because there has never been a black president. The police are there because people get out-control and they want to be ready if it happens. I don't blame them for not wanting you in a park. I don't want to take my kid to the park and find a bunch of hippies sleeping in tents

  • thank all these dumbasses for electing Obama and killing the U.S.A.

  • wow, he isn't white so lets vote for him because black people can't be racist.

    Lady at the begging

  • the Crown's troops are coming

they will kill you like they did your ancestors

and write tales of how you were victorious to

befuddle the minds of your grand children as they did to you

  • Fore some reasone they want us to turn into a 3rd world hell hole, why I cant fathome.

  • your banks have made that a certainty

already by 2010 when the North American Union is enacted those that have not starved to death

during the coming starvation in America

will be happy when the food drops come from Canada

  • wow there all weird looking liberal fucks scary

  • my founding fathers would be horrified by our current elected officials.

  • they are rolling in their grsves

  • who are they ?

    America's founding fathers belonged

to the Grand mason log of England sat and drank and ate with KG the third's agents and spies

it is shameful that the education system in America failed it's people

  • like the guy in the car said, get out of the street.

  • We sure do live in a Democracy, lol. People if you want to protest, just don't do anything. Don't go shopping for worthless plastic crap made in China, or any other 3rd world nation. Stop buying from corporations that screw you, like the companies that sell you toxic overpriced medication, coke, pepsi, GM, GE, etc. Take your money out of the banks that are supporting all of this corruption. This would get their attention if you hit them in their pocket books.

  • finally someone who gets it!

  • That's what's sad. What needs to happen is exactly what will never happen. We have a brainwashed, apathetic populace that continues to hover around their TV's for answers. We blindly follow leaders over a proverbial cliff. You think Obama will bring change? He might; but not the kind we're looking for. Our nation is well on it's way to complete economic collapse and we as a people are powerless to stop it. Why? Because we can't unite. Better start growing those gardens; you'll need them.

  • Don't mistake my anti-Obama comment as my being for McCain or my being racist. The government corruption runs deeper than most people care to realize. When protests like this went on, most American's were in front of their TV's. American the Destitute; America the Police State; that's our future.

Get used to it people, our fate has been sealed. Do now what you can to survive; those are the options we have left to us.

  • Obama is part of the system. He is one side of the same coin. If he doesn't it will be in the form of social welfare, heavy taxation, more entitlement programs which is destroying this country. More industries will leave America. Maybe, the ignorant people who voted for Obama will be really happy when their income tax goes up to 50%.Vote for a 3rd party people, and you can bring forth real change. Stop supporting corporate capitalism, it is crony capitalism. America is too polarized for unity.

  • @Caeridwyn Wow, Very well sed, People just Don't get it do they, I will not vote republican or Dem again, Not until we get someone that will Stand up to the powers the Be, Washington was bought and paid for a long long time ago.

  • WELCOME TO THE USA!

  • Wow - a lot of butches walking around the DNC

  • You notice no ring on hand because she probably bables during sex with man. Probably homo.

  • Tell broad to live in neger neighborhood in south well see how long she's for mulitculture bullshit.

  • LMAO...Yeah lets march!...more people will be at the party im going to throw when the Neocons win the whitehouse in Nov. 08...I think I will burn an efigy or two for entertainment...Oprah will definately be the subject of at least one efigy...Pelosi I had to scratch off the list because she's writing blank checks to the Neocons...and Michelle Obama I had to scratch too in order to avoid a Panther rally..hahaha..That leaves the last remaining Kennedy...oh well..Somebody pass me the lighter.

  • I feel sorry for the people that live in Denver, complete idiots!!

  • yep, I live here and these protesters are wasting cops time and taxpayers money. And arent some of them protesting something about taxes? Why dont they contact their local senators or do something of that nature, it would be more affective.

  • Protest away. You were born here, therefore you are free. Just don't forget that you got that very freedom from doing what you are protesting right now.

You are America and we wouldn't be this country without you, even if you are by far the minority and you are laughed at by the rest o us respectable americans.

    keep on keeping on.

  • i agree with you, these protesters think everything can be 100 % perfect in this country. It has never been perfect nor will it ever.

  • Hell yeah i completely agree with that statment

  • If by "freedom" you mean voting rights, civil rights, women's rights, worker's rights, freedom of speech, etc, these are not freedoms that were given to us through war and they weren't gifts from our beneficent leaders. They were obtained through the many civilizing movements of the past few decades by dedicated people who agitated, protested, and fought hard to realize these freedoms for all of us

  • Just because it is freedom of speech, doesnt mean you can have protests and marches anywhere. State governments put out laws making people get permits to have marches. Personally, i dont care if there are a million cops in Denver. There are governments around the world that are alot harsher on their people. If these people want to do something effective, why dont they go over to Africa and help the starving people, instead of having these pointless rallies in Denver that no one watches.

  • i have been involved in many protests and i can tell u first hand that many of these people have tried their hardest to make a difference across the world. i myself have gone to second world nations and help to reuild homes for families with nothing but the clothes on their back but one of the reasons these people do this is because they CAN protest this is the one country in the world where people can do this sort of stuff

  • there are quite a few countries which allow greater freedom to protest than this country. France for sure, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain. All are in less of a police state than the US is.

  • no body would care because in your country media doesnt show it and democracy only happens on the streets.

  • did you watch this video, did you see all the news cameras. Did you notice this video was made by a news company. Did you watch the national news? It was all on there. I mis said that, instead of "no one watching", lets say "no one cares about."

  • I can't believe we succumb to the Fascism. What could be. done anyway? We are all fish in a barrel

  • I'm in Denver the people protesting here are pussies. They are all talk, with no concept. If it wasn't for police and wars these fucking idiots wouldn't have the freedom of speech to say what they want.

  • How 'bout WE THE PEOPLE show up at our marches and rallies with helmets, batons, pepper spray, flak jackets and gas masks? We could even dress in black.

It is time to do away with our police state.

    R3VOLUTION

  • haha, Obama brings a "new politics.." ? how is that?

  • DNC and Recreate68 Protest Group.

It is possible that the protest group known as Recreate68 was set up and funded by Denver Law Enforcement.

Set up as an agent provocateur political group with the main purpose of engaging in violence setting of an excuse for Denver Law Enforcement to come down hard on legitimate protest groups at the Denver DNC.

  • .

    HOW DOES ONE CAGE FREEDOM?

    .

  • .

    1968 - 2008

    40 YEARS &

    NO CHANGE!

    .

  • lol at the unmarked car... metaphor, irony, "you might want to get out of the street"...

  • I wonder what the combined carbon footprint of all those protesters were? What about the wasted tax-dollars spent on the police? I suggest these protesters exercise there freedom of speech in their hometowns instead of having a large fun-fest in Denver... A bunch of hypocrites looking to have a good time...a waste of time...

  • hmmmm. You're an idiot are you? The protesters have a right to protest. I don't think any violence broke out. There is a difference between protesting and rioting, and I think you have the two confused or you think they are the same. Either way you aren't a very smart person. Protesting is what has always been going on but it is never covered on the news now. Especially since 2003. It doesn't look like a funfest to me. Yesterday police trapped them and teared gassed them unprovoked.

  • Do you have any video or picture proof of this tear gas incident?

  • i wonder what these people would be protesting if there was no war to protest?

oh yeah, the anti globalization movement. i almost forgot about that relic of the early naughts.

  • When the Cable car to the top of Cable Mountain was down for years. Along with a few others nub. we took that long walking climb up to the top. Had several bottles of Parrl wine. And like your comment says Nub. Your guessing too much.

  • Please write in Ron Paul

  • I am disappointed that there isnt moer open dissent these days. I wil not be a Dem anymore.

  • What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty or democracy?

Mahatma Gandhi, "Non-Violence in Peace and War"

Indian political and spiritual leader (1869 - 1948)

  • bopn. Excellant comment. And quoted by one of historys greatest activists.

  • ...who volonteered his services to the crown in the boer war, which makes the war in iraq look like a tea party.

(he also refused to let his wife take life saving medicine, but then took it himself when she dies and he got sick)

(and who also thought that only indians, not black africans, deserved freedom from england)

  • nubbs time factors here. who are you talking about. Slavery in England even bond slavery was eliminated in the 1800s. So im a little bit here not with your response.

  • i guess that's because you've never heard of apartheid or african anti-colonial struggles.

  • the boer war makes iraq like a tea party? What where you spike the tea with depleted uranium and everyone dies?

  • no, the one where you invent the concentration camp.
