  • espetacular. lindo demais. a cumplicidade do casal e a beleza da música transcede lugares com sua magnitude.

  • I never thought of Zerlina as having such a dark voice, it dimishes some of the playfullness for me. She acts awesome, though.

  • 初めて見るには、これがいいかな。

  • Perfect interpretation!!! Thanks for posting!

  • Excellent technique...not a fan of her being on her hands and knees and lifting her skirt...it didn't enhance the interpretation for me, but I enjoyed everything else.

  • "Beat me, dear Masetto, I will stand here like a lamb, awaiting your blows" - well, I'd say, her acting suits the words.

Such a situation, the husband being really angry, was dangerous for a woman of those times, because the husband actually had every right to get physical. Zerlina makes the best out of it by dealing with the submissive role that is imposed on her in a playful manner. Thus she draws the whole conflict to a sexual level, and that is where she knows she will win eventually.

  • @LilliVanessi Great thoughts, thanks for sharing them... Too right about the historical context here!

  • Brava!

  • Aaah, Susanne Mentzer! She's so adorable! Thanks for posting this in high quality.
