  • That announcer sounds sooooo bad. Is he trying to sound sarcastic? He needs more energy.

  • This season was made 2 years before Rich Fields left The Price Is Right. I don't like J.D. Roberto at all he stinks!

  • @TheFlicker98 jd roberto was host of shop til you frop

  • cool

  • Tell you what...Rich may still sound stilted when he reads copy, but he does a fantastic job bringing out Drew.

  • dAMN GLAD they brought back the original new style rolling lights!

  • Ah, so it was an HD thing. I can see the reasoning there, I just found it kinda odd initially.

I have also learned not to ask for opinion in my comments. I think my comment was marked as spam by the replies. *LOL*

  • I Wonder Why People didn't come out like In Previous Premires & Fireing Roger Was A HUGE Misteak Syd Should Be Fired & Sued for that!

  • Wrong.

  • @peanut389 Mike Richards should be fired too.

  • accept it that anything in this world won't be forever...

  • It's classy with a HD twist, so it may deter the purist TPiR fan, but it's HD people, and that's how it is, because it looks amazing!

  • I agree and disagreee. Yes the old one is very classic and nothing beats it, but the set for sesaon 37 is far from ugly. It has a classic and unique touch to it. If you are talking about ugly, take a look at the set for the 1994-1995 syndicated version with Doug Davidson.

  • Did you see the new Showcase Showdown set?

  • Well I think that in contrast to season 36 that the MDS doors look a lot better for the TPIR set. It's just like back in season 23 of Jeopardy when they replaced the screen board and podiums with new ones.

  • I completely agree

  • @c8a6lvin

100% agreed. The daytime Season 36 set was UGLY! The MDS set looked MUCH better.

  • @GSNSmashFan3 note that the backdrop isnt modernized to this day

  • Remember that Roger D. had planned the game lineups for the first seven weeks of this season.

  • Well that's certainly a sigh of relief I get to take knowing that the new producers didn't totally screw things up post-Roger Dobkowitz.

To Fremantle execs: Stop trying to re-invent American TV. Give us what we want.
