ahhh im going to miss that car. I had a 2009 pontiac g6. It was my first car. My sister crashed it today on the highway. very sad. It was a really safe car she was going 60 and didnt get hurt. :)

I was just next to a g6 rearending a trail blazer doing at least 40 yesterday and the crash looked I dentical to this but instead of bouncing back it pushed the trail blazer about 50 ft thur the intersection and veired to the left and stopped in the incoming traffics lanes....

From my veiw it was exactly like this video and everyone was ok with minor injuries....

this has got to be faster than 40 MPH. I own a 2006 g6 and was cut off on the freeway. I rear ended a 2008 nissan sentra at 50+ MPH. The sentra was totaled and my g6 suffered less than $500 in dammages.

yes but that isn't an immediate decrease is speed...and your hitting another car and not a wall so it crumples.

@jinanddevil it's due to your acceleration and the force acted on the vehicle in front of you and what type of acceleration he has. Take a physics 20 class and you will understand enough physics so get why your vehicle only suffered $500 worth of damage.
