  • Hey thanks Mr.Wright. I have a very bad (and long) scratch on my rear deck lid. I am going to attempt to use your technique this afternoon. I wish you good health.

  • After you polish the area that was discolored by sanding it looks fine. is there a chance that polished area goes back to post sanding phase after few washes and weeks? Or it stays like that forever?

  • Thank u very much! I`ll try to fix my scratches today.^^

  • just because this guy can use his hands dont mean hes as healthy as a horse as some tossers say on here, this guy has decent tips that work and hes not trying to earn anything out of it,fair play to you @m22wright your a nice guy,i hope your health is as ok as can be,thank you again for some REALLY useful and skillfull hints and tips that would cost anyone without the knowledge a fair few dollars/or pounds in my case, martyn united kingdom.

  • OK??? OK!!!!!! dude u have a big heart. Disabilities my ass, u seem healthier than a horse, thanks for the vid.

  • Was looking through videos to see about fixing deep scratches on cars, considering my car had just gotten a few nasty scratches.

Going to keep studying this before doing anything with it, but thank you for putting these vids up for everyone to see!

  • can you write in the description what do wee need for that?

  • OK?!

  • @RoniisH loooool

  • Great video.. i too have got a deep scratch on my car & i would like to try this out to remove the scratch but i am a little worried about rubbing it down with a sand paper cause i own a black car & i have heard that restoring a finish on a black car is very difficult. i don't want to aggravate the situation by messing up the paint work around the scratch especially when i don't have a machine to polish & restore. would like to know your opinion before i go ahead with this.

  • it's people like u that makes me want to become a better human being. by u inspiring me,it's not much but i'm going to master this and do it for my dear friend who has a nasty parking lot scractches on his car. God bless u much love ^^

  • hey great video i hope i can do this on our cars because we got some major scratches and there not too deep thanks again for this great video :)

  • OK?)

  • So you used 2 polishers?? Whats the difference between each one? and by rubbing compound you are referring to wax?

  • >Like<

  • Hi, I have a nasty key scratch on my car. I'm going to try your technique. Please can you confirm , Is it OK for me to use Auto Glym - Super resin Polish and Harly Wax? If so, in which order? In another video, you mention polybutene (is this like polishing rouge) where would I get that from, please? I think you are FAB! Come and live in the UK. I hope you can help and understand my queries! LOL

  • hi, can you show me how to remove scratches (very deep you need to use paint chip) and can you use turtle wax ice as finishing? turtle wax ice is said to reduce time for polishing..please sir, in my area we only have turtle wax ice and not meguier diamond whatever.

  • Thanks NITeHaWK and everyone else who has enjoyed this video

  • @m22wright is 3000 grit easier to buff out even though it will take a bit longer to sand

  • This is exactly what I was looking for. Just bought a 2009 Legacy with 15k miles on it and the previous owner slid a few cardboard boxes across the trunk and roof or something and left clearcoat scratches. I cant wait for it to warm up a bit so I can wash the car real nice and use this technique.

  • top man!!! your great

  • i accidentally put some scratches in my car due to brushing against a parking garage post! :(

this video is fantastic and you make it look so easy!! thanks so much for posting it!

    i had a couple questions:

    1) the spray that you are using with the grit - is this just water?

    2) can you use any regular towel to wipe it down? (as long as the towel isnt rough or textured)

    3) how do you know if the scratch is too deep to be fixed ourselves or can this work on any scratch?

    thank you so much again!

  • @asdaysgoby1 Thanks sweetheart for the kind words you have posted. Yes, its only water i am using and as far as my towels go, i use micro fiber towels to wipe off and is the scratch to deep ??? well sometimes they are and when they are, it requires more work and at times, touch up paint. If you dont have the touch up then go ahead and sand out what you can and refinish like I show you. It may not come out all the way, but at least you can still make an improvemet

  • WERE DO U GET YOUR ARDEX PRODUCTS

  • Question, what do you use to wash it down, is it just plain water or something else?

I"m almost ready to repair my paint.

Thanks for posting!!!... You are aweseome.

  • @h2oreactor its a top secret potion that i use .Its a highly classified substance and if I told you, I would have to shoot you. (LOL) Its just water my friend. Happy New Year to you.

  • Fantastic!! Thanks for showing how to do this by hand. Really appreciate it.

  • I just want to share with everyone the appreciation that I have for everyones support. As everyone knows, I have Parkinsons Diease and several other handicapps that make everyday simple things extremly difficult for me to do.

Thank you Ashley. You are my biggest supporter since you to are handicapped as well. I love you as well. Hang in there

  • thanks martin....i think people should have learnt from this cos its helped alot...GOD BLESS

  • @ashygrey1 Ashley, I love you a lot and I think that you are an angle from God. You have given me alot of support and encouragement

  • @m22wright I honestly highly respect you after watching this video. People like you are more than a blessing to this world, helping others all around the world while having several disabilities. I know I can't walk a mile in your shoes, but every day I strive to be as strong as you, and I know that one day I'll get there. Please just do not let your talent, skills, and strong work ethic go unnoticed. Thank you for your wonderful ability of helping others all across the globe.
