Hypno-Disc and Razer should bring their robots along to one of the roaming robot events and battle it out =D
just thought actually when i saw the disc slowing down, i wonder how diotoir would do against hypno-disc. it may seem like no contest but bear in mind diotoir does have more push than hypno-disc and the fur may stop the disc a bit =D
@laura43fun not completely true, flippers are the main weapons that can take on house robots but not the only ones, there are other types of weapons that can take them on, such as Razer's hydraulic piercer which has given us great entertainment owning Shunt and destroying Matilda, and i'm sure a disc in the right place could trash a house robot as well

This has got be one of, if not the best, fight I have ever seen on RW. Bigger Brother seemed SUCH an underdog but still kept going on, and managed to stack the odds against Hypno-Disc.

As Hypnodisc went in for an attack the pit began to lower. The two began tussling near the pit and Bigger Brother got in a good position underneath Hypnodisc and turned it into the pit. No traction and another nudge later they were in the pit.
This series was the best hope for a Razer vs Hypnodisc fight. Shame it never happened, but it was an excellent match, this. Bigger Brother got pounded but no internal damage was inflicted. They had greater pushing power and managed to win out, although they were lucky.
Yeah; it's a shame that they never won the UK title once or won many awards, despite their great success. They may be considered as the greatest robots to not win the UK Championship.

@produKtNZ Safety reasons I think. Not to mention the appalling match fixes during the Seventh Wars, that counted against it majorly. It's always been an issue, but especially in Series 6 final to the end.
@Giratina70 Luck? A very well built robot more like. You can do alkl the damage you like to its shell and everything but if the electrics and hydraulics are still working then there is always that danger of them coming back into it when the disc (as it looked here) lost power for some reason.
It was similar when they faced Berserk 2 back in Series 3, Hypodisc won that fight but caused no damage to its opponent because that also was well built.

But as awesome a robot Hypnodisc was, it was always susceptable to wearign out the motors on that disc, and that is a tactic many other robots use against them, try to survive for as long as you can then make your move. And for Bigger Brother in this instance, that paid off big time.

It's all in the driving. The Razer boys really know how to drive their machine, which is why they so often win. Hypnodisc would need one lucky hit, but it would have to be very, very lucky indeed. Razer's driving is just too good.
hypnodisk would beat razor, if razor pierced the disk, who cares? it would still spin with a little hole in it, and if hypnodisk hit razor on the wings or wheels its over. hypnodisk gets my vote.

It's a very hard one to call, i think it's all down to who gets the first proper hit. IF razor got its clutches on Hypnodisk on the wheels or body or disk it could be decisive but the same could be said for razor, IF hypnodisk hit razors wheels or spun him around its only a matter of time before razor is imbolized, we know the issues razor had with imbolilty. I still think razor may get a few stabs in but the superb strength of the disk would send razor spinning off to a galiant loss. H/D ftw.
Wouldn't the best strategy with the hypnodisc be to attack it from close quarters? if you can prevent the disc from spinning up to top speed, it won't really matter if you get too close to it.

An unbelievable upset, although I still believe Bigger Brother aren't the best robot and because of this upset it ruined the chance for a Hypno-Disc v Razer final which we'll never see. I think the problem with Hypno-Disc is the Dave Rose isn't the best driver because numerous of times they stood right next to Bigger Brother and should've pushed them into a CPZ and stupid driving around the pit area.

I think the problem with Hypno-Disc is the Dave Rose isn't the best driver because numerous of times they stood right next to Bigger Brother and should've pushed them into a CPZ and stupid driving around the pit area.
