The Japanese language hasn't got the letter "L", and the "R" is the letter that sounds more similar to "L". So, they write "Kurashuman" (Crashman) but when pronunced it sounds like "Kulashuman". When Mega Man 2 was translated, it looks like Americans didn't consider his name could actually be Clashman...
