I find it funny how they americanize the part where Owl saids, i said Issue, not Achoo when the british version is 'I said Issue not atishoo' which makes more sense.
@Caaaaeh simple, A. A. Milne's Last living descendent, Clare Milne, doesn't get any money from the royalties of her grandfather's creation. and I think that's wrong for disney to make Billions off A.A. Milne's Creation, and not give something to Clare.
I like pooh, but i believe Clare should get something from the book to pay for C.P. Treatment and the foundation Christopher Robin Milne founded in her name.
Why? Don't get me wrong, I'm all for righting injustices, but without knowing of specific injustice done to the family by the contract, it seems puzzling to assume that simply being related to a genius entitles family to a cut of their creation. If Disney fast talked them out of a share they deserve, that's one thing, but if they signed a contract without any real thought to this result, isn't that on their heads?
keane will always remain my favorite band ,since i fell in love with them at 11. That and my favorite cartoon of my childhood, almost beings me to tears :')
I'm going to this movie, by myself if I have to. Also, I think it's cool that they made Christopher Robin British again. In the nineties, I seem to recall him having an American accent.
ok ill allways love Winnie the pooh, and glad theyve made this old school again!. But i dunno,.....some of the voices were messed up, Eeyore is way way waaaay to depressed and some of the parts just didnt seem like a Winnie the Pooh film! eg. if youve watched it then the part with rabbit tryna look for things.....
I laughed at the funny scenes and teared up at the end ...as always, such cute and funny characters...and when you watch closely, there is a lot of wisdom too =) I didn't want it to end! Love Pooh and his friends forever!!
@asdfqwertyfour There was no book called Edward Bear, although at one point Pooh's name was just that. The original book by A.A. Milne was, in fact, called Winnie-the-Pooh.
This is the only cartoon from my childhood that I wish to never forget. I seriously love Winnie the Pooh, and I wish I am able to watch this super duper cool movie.
@FrayFan48 What!? Outgrown cartoons?! Please, no ones ever too old for cartoons and thinking so is silly. Cartoons are meant for everyone, not just one age group.
I'm really glad this movie at least made its budget back before completely disappearing from theaters, it should make a profit on DVD/Blu Ray. I knew Disney as a whole hasn't lost its heart, it's really only the channel that gives the whole company a bad name!
This new horror film called "STRANGE ROOMS" is very scary. Watch at strangerooms website if you are brave enough. it’s about scary and strange haunting at one creepy apartment in Hollywood, CA. Get freaked out!
The thing I love the MOST, is that it's not some 3D crap like they do all the movies now..This is just how I remember Winnie the Pooh and all the other movie cartoons back in the day. What's funny is I don't usually like kid movies, but I REALLY want to watch this! D:
I used to love Pooh when I was little. :D I'm 18 and I'm going to see this movie today. I'm glad to see that they're still going! Keane is great too, I really like their choice in music.
Why is everyone flipping a shit thinking this movie is aimed towards kids? "Is it bad that I'm [some age over 7] and what to see this movie?" Yeah? So? Doesn't mean shit.
Did you guys see all the references they made to the old material? This is pure nostalgia fuel aimed towards the people who saw The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
When I was 5 i got a Piglet stuffed doll...that was nearly 15 years ago...it's next to me on my bed as I type...It's one of my most cherished possessions...when I saw this trailer I got so teary eyed I can't even explain why! lol...anyways I'm pregnant now and I anticipate the day I can give my little one his/her piglet :')<3
