Hey! The last swimmer in freestyle its a Great ALEX POPOV!!! He CUTTING A 3SECS DIFFERENCE more and more close to Usa swimmer! and capturing a Silver Medal in last meters!!! GREAT!!!
@Drakkarkyu2 actually he lose 0.12 seconds against Lezak look the pace, when Americans start the freestyle they are winning for 3.06 secs, and when the race finish USA time is 3.31.54 against the 3.34.72 of Russia
Kitajima caught up slightly with Brendan Hansen of the USA in the breatstroke lead but Ian Crocker extends it further from Takashi Yamamoto in the butterfly leg. Jason Lezak as always is dependable in the freestyle leg touching home in record time while the last Japanese swimmer got busted by the Russians in the last minute, which is kind of expected as Japan don't have a strong swimmer in the freestyle.

Atenas is fantastic and the opportunities provided by the Caldera really are impressive.

@Drakkarkyu2
Popov 47.95
Lezak 47.83
VDH 46.70
Popov lost ground to the USA in his leg.
VDH fastest textile relay split in history.
